    1. The cash machine is not in the co-op, it's outside on the garage wall. It's an Abbey National one.

    2. The Texaco garage charges for withdrawls.

    3. Yes you could use Tescos but it means going into town and possibly getting stuck in traffic. RAF Officer trainees have little time off so they don't want to spend it stuck in queues at Tescos.

I know because i'm based at Cranwell and have been since May 2003 (and if you don't believe me then i'm going to go and take pictures!!!!)

    A little wager perhaps?

    1) The Co-Op Cash machine is located inside the Co-Op on the left side as you go in through the door, the Co-Op is located at the Fina petrol station next to Ray Bentley Car Sales and Scoffers Chippy, it is a Co-Op bank cash machine and is free as detailed on THE LINK web page

    2) The Texaco garage does not charge for withdrawls as its a Abbey National cash machine as detailed on THE LINK web page, its loacted at the Texaco / Mace / Hockyemyer motors garage to the left of the garage/shop

More details on the Hockmyer Motors WEB PAGE

    3) Agreed

Ive lived in Sleaford 34 years :)

i never mentioned the co op machine, i said there is a free cash machine outside and there is.

I use this one because it the nearest one that doesn't charge.

    You're in Sleaford? Small world!

If he goes to the Holdingham roundabout (with McDonalds on it) head into Sleaford and on the right is a garage with a Co-Op. .

You did mention a coop, and there machine is inside :D
  • I read somewherew that all NAAFI shops/spars have a greed a deal that means all cash points will be free for just the reason you stated that the fees are too high. I think it was in Januarys Soldier mag, do they cover the RAF as well ??

OK, foot work done and the results are in:

    1. The Cashpoint i was referring too (Abbey National and free) is next to the Mace shop. This is the cashpoint i suggested using, but got mistaken in its location.

    2. The garage cashpoint does charge. £1.85!!!
