Well been back to hospital today for a futher biopsy and have been given my date for the Balloon Ablation.I am having it done on 23rd April and while im knocked out they are going to do another hysteroscopy and biopsy and also sterilise me at the same time.
So at least i will get it done all in one go and was very surprised i got told what date while i was there.

Good luck - I hope it all goes well for you. That will come round in no time.

Fern and Phil having a chat about this today - should be something on their website later. The Dr they are chatting to sounds very well informed.

hey sloppy just thought i would letu know i had my ablation done yesterday... i ended up staying in hospital overnight cos i was late back from the op and too sleepy to come home

i have been in bed most of today dozing and i have a sore tummy (naturally) but it isnt as sore as i had expected.. painkillers are keeping the worst at bay and i have a hot water bottle on it which is really helping....also the discharge (sorry if TMI) is not as heavy as i thought

so all in all not as bad as i thought it might be.. apparently it can take some months to settle down and i have to go back in 4months to see the consultant who said if it hasnt worked i could have a suction hysterctomy

good luck next week when u go for yours

    xx

Thanks for letting me know Shykins, you take good care of yourself and hopefully before long you will be fully recovered and raring to go.
I go in Monday morning, need to be there for 7.30am and really just want it over and done with now.Mind you thats if my bloods are ok as at my pre-op my white blood cell count was high so they are repeating it tomorrow.
