Sky scam phone calls

I received a phone call from 0845 4110910 saying they were from Sky TV and saying they were ringing to see if they had any special offers they could give me. They asked for my name and pin number or date of birth. Told them I wasn't happy giving them this and put phone down. Contacted Sky and they said it wasn't them. Definitely a scam, so please be aware if they phone you.
