Oooh I just ordered some shelves for my shop :) I found them on Rgoose and they were about £50, and I thought flip me I'm not paying that much!!! So I fleabayed and have just bought them including p+p for £19.89 they take 20kg each and are 172cm (h) x 60cm(w) x 30cm (d). Now to make some signage ;)

Lol at signage. Are you making price tickets too? I bet you could get one of those old supermarket pricing guns with the little labels on Fleabay :rotfl:

I've just got a couple of metal shelves for the understairs cupboard from the big blue & yellow Swedish shop. They're only 8.99 each (HYLLIS is the item name) Height: 140 cm, Width: 60 cm, Depth: 27 cm, 25kg load per shelf. They just fit diagonally across the back seats of the car too so they're easy to get home. I might go and get one for the shop next time I'm passing.

Ooh I wish I'd seen this first, although I think I prefer 5 shelves to 4 so I can have more stuff ;)

    3rd purse spend ;)
I've done a stocktake and made another spreadsheet and told my sister she can buy the stuff off me if she gives me notice in advance. She can have it at cost price, but I'll put the saving in my 3rd purse from my pocket. Her and my parents can't afford to buy in bulk as they haven't had their LBMs yet.

Just checking in to say that I finally found a loo roll offer in a shop close to home! MrT have their own brand soft roll, 9pk for £3.00, so I got 2 packs for my shop. Good job too as the loo roll situation was reaching critical proportions :j

Today I popped to b**ts as kids needed some medicine, and had a look at the offers there :o- cos i have loadsa money. not!

    Picked up:

palmolive shower gel 0.79p reduced from £1.59 x2
Sure Roll On for Men- 0.87p reduced from £1.75 x3
    Soft & Gentle deoderant 0.94p reduced from £1.89 x3
lynx shower gels ( different fragrances) £1 reduced from £2.99 x4.

minus the medicine i spent around £11 & saved £14.90 on offers, which will be my profit eventually :j

Have put into my shop. But as it's out of grocery budget already, what i will do, when i buy it back i will just put the difference from what I paid and what current prices are into second purse :T otherwise i will be totally broke and raiding the second purse way too soon :rotfl:

I've transferred across the money from my grocery budget to my second purse :j now have £13.42 in there! and we're off....:rotfl:

    Took from stock today:

1 pack of sunflower seeds 100g. Paid £0.10 originally, put across into second purse £0.72.
Also took some cous cous from stock. Paid about 40p for 200g and paid across £1.75 after checking price online :)

Is your OH a sheep dog? Only joking :)
That rice is a good price, just goggled for better and couldn't find one. If buying rice in quantity don't forget to decant into sealed boxes and to use the double freeze method to kill off pesties to prevent spoilage. Oh and brown rice/pasta only lasts 6 months, white pasta however is pretty longlife.

    .

:rotfl:@ OH being a sheepdog...he'd have been better off if he was!

So do you freeze rice when uncooked  or cooked? Never thought you could freeze rice until i read your thread on here?!

I was in that position in October of 2010, as I was about to get in some Mr T ones when I spotted an upcoming offer (at Nett0) of the label I really like..... by the day the offer started I had less than half a roll left, which meant I had to take it upstairs to the en-suite at night and bring it down to the cloakroom in the morning :rotfl: Guess I'm lucky I live on my own ;)

Did a big stock-up then (3 bags of 24 rolls), of which I have 2 full rolls and 2 in use left....

Last October Mr M had an offer on the same label (worked out cheaper than the Nett0 offer a year earlier even before my staff discount, so a real bargain), so I picked up 6 bags of 18 rolls

Those should last me until Feb 2014, giving me plenty of time to find another good offer on them before I come close to running out :rotfl:
