  • I recently bought my 2 DD Sheets and Pillowslips, they had 80% off plus got a code for a further 15% off JN15

They are Egyptian cotton 250 thread Count, and absolutely gorgeous great quality, one of the best bargains I've had in a while.
I buy all my bedding from this company but only when they are offering the further discount. This offer expires on 31st Jan.

20 tins should have cost you £8 shouldn't they?

Are you sure Mr S didnt overcharge you 96p?

I have only recently started checking my receipts properly and they rarely DON'T overcharge me on something or other.....:(

Oh my - thank you fozziebear - you are absolutely right - see I need all the help I can get. Funny as the SA asked me for the money I said something isn't right but then was flummoxed as it was busy and my brain wasn't in gear - I hate being diddled as I spent ages checking I had only picked up the ones in water. I know it is only a small amount but I am going to pop in and complain to customer services (it all adds up) - anyone know what MrS policy is for overcharging? If they make a fuss think I will just ask for a full refund then go and buy only the most expensive ones back!!!

Will put them in the car as DD and I are going to the local college after school and Mr S not too far away from it - a friend is training in the hair salon so DD is getting a hair cut and I am having a scalp treatment and head massage - all at very reduced rates

Does Mr M do a leaflet through the post? That would be most excellent if they do, or one that they have instore?

We have 2 MrM's - we used to regularly get a flyer in with the freebie papers but I can't remember seeing one for ages - if I ever see one in store I will let you know

I've just priced up a lovely bed set from £100 to £21.50 + £4.95 postage. I've never had Egyptian cotton and I'm really tempted. I could spread the cost of the £25 across my purse budget. I already have cotton sheets no manmade here. Can someone tell me is Egyptian cotton worth it?

Edit: Just noticed the one I want isn't Egyptian Cotton, so will leave it. But will check next year for nice bedsheets thank you :)

Oh and if you'd like to put your numbers in your signature then that might help me to keep track of your 3rd purses, of course you don't have to if you don't want. Big and bold otherwise :)

ya know I was thinking about bedding just this morning. We have 300 count egytian cotton and it is lovely and soft and smooth - hubby loves it. BUT - its almost too soft for me - I like thick crisp almost starchy sheets. I picked up a cotton sheet in the CS for my dd to build dens with and the quality is so much better than even the good expensive new sheets - its thick and heavy like hospital or hotel sheets. Too good for den building - its goign on her bed!

I read Motherships posts a while back and I really want to join in as love bulk buying, but wonder how time consuming it is? I work in different supermarkets everyday so can take adavantage of the offers without having to make special trips, so I suppose its just the spread sheet, how are you all finding it so far?

How brilliant to be in the various supermarkets and spot bargains without having to go out of your way! :T

I am just using a notebook, not spreadsheets, and while I felt totally confuzzled THINKING about the Second Purse, as soon as I actually STARTED doing it, it suddenly all made sense! :D
