Hi AH, I too get my meat from DR:D, but use Westin Gourmet also. They are quite expensive with their delivery at £7.50 (and don't seem to get any free delivery offers neither:mad:, except on first order when it is half price), but their bacon is good value at £11 odd for 2.25kg which is around 50 slices and it is really nice. I have also just ordered a 2.5kg block of mature cheddar from them for £19 but haven't tried it yet, so will let you know.
Their meat is good quality too, but I do tend to order this from DR unless it is on offer with WG as like I say they can be a bit more expensive than DR with their delivery costs. Would recommend them though so if you want to order anything let me know as I can get something for a referral and I think you get something too :T. HTH
Edit: Meant to say that the stuff gets sent to you fresh and not frozen (unlike DR) so it makes it easier to split if you want to have smaller portions - Packaging is also good like DR too! When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Just balanced the purses for this week. 2nd purse hasn't purchased too much lately - just some ys burgers this week. I have been using quite a bit of stock for packed lunches and the main meals this week have used stock from the freezer.
2nd purse now back to £50 and 3rd purse £110.13 :j

Hi all, not posted in a little while, but I am keeping on with the system. I find it is working incredibly well for us, but I really must stop buying anything else for the stockpile as it's getting out of hand!!! I am very proud though that last week, all I had to buy was milk & bread! Second purse very low at the mo, but only because I got a bit carried away with AF!2nd Purse #036 £46.69/£50.00
3rd Purse £30.02

Morning everyone,
Have the house to myself as both DSs are walking our dog, and DH and DD are at the tip (yes I know it's Father's Day but I can't lift some of the items so needs must.....)
Have just updated my totals. Some 2nd Purse purchases this week. Now have some chocolate back in stock. Have bought the snack size Mar$, Snicker$ and Galaxee to try to keep the calorie content down. Hopefully this will not mean I eat twice as many barsAlso got coco shreddie$ HP in MrS yesterday at £1.04 a box (buy back £2). Got 6 boxes as the boys go through a box a week at least!
Will use about £30 of stock this week for packed lunches and dinners. Loving this systemCross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0
