My 2nd purse currently 'owes' the 1st purse £21.79. This week we have used some bits and pieces for meals and packed lunches so this will reduce the deficit.

Will be needing toothpaste soon, so £2 in £land for 2 x Aqu@fresh pumps and £5 in Sainsbobs for 2 x Sensodyn£ for me (usually almost £4 per pump ). So that's another £7 that the 2nd purse owes the 1st purse :rotfl:

Will balance the books tomorrow ;)

Would anyone like a £6 off £40 spend voucher for Sa!nsbury's? I only seem to get tillspits from them the week before payday when I don't have £40 to my name! Can't see me being able to find £40 of offers there that are worthwhile, although I'm going to check Mysupermarket tonight to see if the SP can go out to play there :rotfl:

Let me know here if someone wants it and if I'm not going to use it I'll PM you.

My latest AF order arrived today. Strangely I didn't get an email from them advising what day/time. It was only that I logged on to their system that I saw it was coming this afternoon. As luck would have it, they arrived just as I was leaving on the school run. Very lucky.

I got a case of 12 Sharwood$ Thai red curry paste for 1p! Never used it before and the recipe on the pack says to use with beef. Do you think it would work with chicken? Anyone?

Went a bit overboard with the mini eggs - 10 packs for £3.30 and golden syrup cakes - little mini ones individually wrapped for packed lunches - 10 boxes of 4!!! Have had to try one to make sure they are okay ;)

Don't think I will need to order from them for a while as I don't have much space left in CAZCO. All items I got today are well in date except for the Thai red curry paste. What a bargain :money:

The thai curry paste works well with vegetables, so I'm sure it works well with chicken as well :) I hadn't even thought to check the date on mine, oops! Might pop a few down to my parents this weekend if it's short-dated. I've stopped looking at dates now though, just do the look, sniff, lick test. There's a few bags of crisps that haven't passed this test as they seem a bit stale, which surprised me as I thought they would live forever, but most of everything else has been fine :)

Kerri - the thai red curry paste is dated May 2010  oh well it's only 1p for 12 sachets so if it's got to be binned then so be it :)

A useless bit of information which I will share with my lovely 2nd pursers on this Friday morning, but crisps always run out of their sell by date on a Saturday :p:D

Have had to write out an IOU for the SP until payday as Mr Fresian managed to knock my moisturiser into the cat litter tray  Luckily thanks to the Garnier offer someone mentioned a while ago I had a spare in Fresian Foods :D

I won't be using the £6 off £40 spend at Sainsbury's voucher, so if anyone wants it let me know. You'll need to be quick though as it's to be used by the 15th I think.

Oooh thanks Kerri, good to know. The sachets say 'serves 2-3' so I was going to use 2 sachets for the 5 of us. Maybe one will be enough then?

Visiting my DSis today as she had her gallbladder out yesterday. 30 stones  - gallstones that is, not 30 stones in weight :rotfl:

I am taking some choc fudge cookies and golden syrup cakes from my AF order :D hopefully will cheer her up.

DR meatballs and spaghetti last night. Everyone very impressed with the taste, and they didn't shrink/fall apart. Slight change to mealplan tonight as DS2 has a friend to tea. DR minced steak in a cottage pie - mmmm can't wait!
