Keep at it though as I still think doing the SP even in as small a way as you can is better than nothing.

And she's off.... I'm proud to report that I have now got £23.50 in my 2nd purse!! So much slower going than all you guys, but, I can't afford to run up loads of stock (and only buy my normal groceries when on special offers anyway!!), but it's nice to have some money in my 2nd purse. I only put £10 a month in, so it's definitely slower but surely in my case.
I've decided to wait to get to £30 to start on my 3rd purse, which will probably be for a new panny breadmaker, because mine has just about reached the end of it's life(over 14 years old and used every day!!!)
Am off to stock up on nutella at waitrose as its 3for2, unless anyone knows of anywhere cheaper??0 -
i'm def the slow coach here - 2nd purse has £20 in but I do have lots of useful stock - friend recommended a local farm shop for meat the other day so need to get out there an check out the prices (oh and make some room in the freezer!)People seem not to see that their opinion of the world is also a confession of character.

Hello Marrbett :hello:- was only just thinking of you yesterday and wondered how you were as haven't seen you on here for a while. Glad you are okay and nice to see that you are progressing well with SP. Take careWhen you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying!:rotfl:

I don't think any of you are 'slow coaches' - you are all doing really well
. I'm also one of the 'taking things slowly' people but I know that it's because I'm decreasing the amount I spend in my GB each month so don't pay full price for the things in my 2nd purse, just a bit more than I paid for them. I will get there in the end
.

I've just sat down, looked at my stock, and thought "hmmm....other than yoghurt for brekkie I don't actually need to go to the SM for months if I can bring myself to bake my own bread, and I even have bread mixes for that now too!" So I should now have £11.50 GB spend each week, £10 for a veg box and £1.50 for yoghurt. So why is it I can't decide what to make for tea?Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

MunniMuncha & ElizaBunny I've updated your front page totals, congratulations on doing well
I wouldn't worry to those that don't have big 2nd purses, I'm in negativeI can't seem to stop buying bargains, although now I'm forced to as I don't have any room left (it's taken up by cous cous)
