Thanks jakes-mum, oldest DD loves Foxes!!:D Fingers crossed my little Coop has some sort dated ones.......sadly they are pretty mean with their reductions.

Last Thursday (by contrast) was a great day for afternoon recuctions in the little Tesco Express and I was going to have a look but it is seriously cold and wet out there :(

Well I took a trip to Mr S this morning and was very sneaky/clever with some coupons to get some more stuff for MM!

    2 x Fl@sh wipes 90pk B1G1F cost £2.80 buy back £2.80 each
    2 x Origin@l Souce shower gel B1G1F £2.20 buy back £2.20 each
    2 x Ci!!it Bang B1G1F £3.05 buy back at £3.05 each

    Now heres the science part....!
I bought 2 bottles of champagne costing £71.98 total
I had a £5.00 off £50.00 shop coupon and a £3.00 off Ci!!it Bang coupon, with the B1G1F offers and my coupons the £16.10 worth of household products cost me a grand total of 5p!!!!! And I have of course dutifully taken that out of my SP!

I'm returning the champagne tomorrow or Saturday for a refund as I only got it to get my 1500 extra bonus n€ctar points!!

All in all a very successful trip to Mr S!
    MFW £190,450/£141,140

Just spent the best part of three days gutting out my kitchen cupboards and reorganising everything. Its looking well braw now, everything has had a bath in the dishwasher.
I filled three black bags with packaging and put loads of stuff in jars, so there's loads more space ( I wonder what I could fill it with.)
I made a pot of lentil soup to use up some of the veg in the fridge and some makarel pate (nom nom). We had a bowl of soup and the pate for lunch and I've two containers of soup in the fridge for the next two days
( I've got a huge ironing to do so wont be cooking much.)
I've got some shin of beef in the slow cooker for our steak pie, and I'm waiting on a stolen to rise, I've got a batch of plain and fruit scones and soda bread in the oven. I will put the puff pastry in when I take the scones out.
I'm so pleased you are all doing so well with your purses. My OH has been reading some of the pages and asking questions about the system, to my surprise his comments were really positive, but he did say initially that he thought I just liked shopping LOL.
I will update my signature later. I went to collect some things from Mr T yesterday and got a few YS veg, didn't spend much.
I really really DONT need anything much this week apart from milk.
I'm enjoying reading all your posts :)

Can I just ask for some advice please? I pay my "purse" as I go and likewise settle up for my items straightaway. I am struggling to get to the position of moving money across to the 3rd purse as the cash keeps rolling out of the 2nd purse for bargains. Now, on the one hand my stock is growing but I just can't see how it will ever filter over. Thanks.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Oh don't worry AlwaysHappy, soon your shop will be saturated and you won't be able to buy anything more on the bargains until you've used the stock up as you either a) won't have room or b) will already have enough of it :)

I've spent all my second purse budget, and have a massive stock. But nothing in my 3rd purse either. However, I physically can't buy anything else as I've got everything I need now probably enough to last me at least 6 months with only needing to buy fruit & veg.

Thanks Kerri - you are probably right!! (lets hope so.....). I have to say I do love tinkering with my spread sheet - its my guilty pleasure, just admiring it.......... Its nice to be able to confess that knowing I'm in good company - most people I know in my "other" life would just think i was mental!!

They had chocolate Club biscuits in my local Sainsbugs today for 44p instead of £1.75 :D:D I'll buy them back for £1, which will keep Mr Fresian in biscuits for a while...!
