I think this is the easiest way to show how the 2nd Purse works, you don’t always spend all money in the 2nd Purse every month. So I’ve not allowed for that, or that some of you already had a good starting stock.
The 2nd Purse is the working part of the idea, don’t be afraid to spend this on bargains. Let it flow.
I know some of you don’t want to PAY full price for anything, even to yourself.
As long as you got it at a good price to start with. That’s what you’ve paid. That amount can never go up.
Remember once the money goes into the 2nd Purse it can only make you stronger, more money , more stock = Less of your hard earned money going to the SM.
Once they have it its lost, if you have it, whether in stock or in the purse , you STILL
have it!
The idea works because the money your making is going round and round, Spend £10 make £10, spend £20 make £20, spend £40 make £40. And so on. You are re-investing your savings in YOU!

Oh and the only reason the mini rolls will last in my house is because they're all for me hahahaha and I'm going to be very disciplined, honest! The 6 bottles of cloudy lemonade, however, are another story eep.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:

Thank you all again for the welcome! I've never looked forward to payday so much! :j
I've come up with another little plan... My DH runs his own company so this Saturday I'm going to drag him to M@kro and make him sign up so I can then use his card and get any good deals. We are very lucky that our nearest store is only a 5 min drive away. Obviously I'll be scouring tinterweb to make sure I'm getting best deals before I get anything thereMFW £190,450/£141,1400 -

Thank you Kerri, phoned DR. the woman thought there was something wrong with their computer system LOL. I have 18 orders spread out till September ( I spent my Quidco Bonus). The gifts had been added to the September delivery. She said I must be their most organised customer.Thank you all again for the welcome! I've never looked forward to payday so much! :j

Be careful with Macro, I usually only buy there when they have offers on, some of their bulk buys are not so good. You can get cheaper elsewhere.
Their bacon is not bad 2.5 kg for around £7 The HORECA brand is best avoid the ARO one which is far too salty. And they have 4 x 2 Litre Jugs of milk for £3.30 ish.

Thank you for the tip about Makro Mothership.
I've had a busy couple hours, been sorting out my under stairs cupboard and now have a whole bookshelf (that's taller then me!) to start stocking up my shop. And the best bit is moving all my cleaning stuff around under the sink I already have a bottle per$il washing liquid I got half price unopened and a bottle of f@iry which I got on offer ages ago. I've also got 2 bottles of shower cream that were half price so have got a tiny stock in my store already!

Just a quick question in preparation for starting my stock...
Did anyone do a large stock up first of all? What I'm getting at is there are so many good offers on at the moment that I want to get, it will take me well over my 2nd purse first monthly payment. It seems such a shame to let some of these great deals pass me by, especially in things that I will definitely use and aren't just getting because they're on offer.
Thanks!MFW £190,450/£141,1400 -

Hi, I think quite a few of us went into minus on our 2nd purses to start with, buy things that you will use quickly. If you look back there are quite a few jokes about beans and loo rolls. Joking aside they are good 2nd purse builders for many, if you try and buy a selection of offers, maybe less of them than you would like but it does give you a variety and that will help. For me it was beans and dog food to start, followed by laundry gel then washing up liquid.
I started my 2nd purse with no funds and no stock just after ChristmasDebt Free Diary - Second Chances! Life in a Tourer........Debt free, building a savings pot0
