i think my second purse is currently a little in the red - I have got to pull the reins in slightly and realise that these offers come around again and I don't have to get them all at once - me thinks I got a little carried away

My DR order arrived on Tuesday - I got the butchers special steak and burger pack. I have a bit of a silly Q - I am very new to freezing food and have a small chest freezer so it all went in there - I have read through the booklet that came with the order for the hints and tips and it says to defrost steak and joints thoroughly but it doesn't mention the burgers - would you defrost these before you cooked or cook them from frozen.

    Spreadsheet - HELP!!

I have finally downloaded Kerris spreadsheet from the 1st post.

I opened it in Open Office.

    I deleted Kerris amounts.

    I entered my 1st line of stuff - 12 x 15 Finish tabs, bought @ 99p and will buy back @ £2.00.

But it didnt work out the figures for me......I added it up (fingers and toes :rotfl:) and entered the amounts but..........

Do I click something to make it do the working out? :o

It's a good 20 years since I tried to use a speadsheet.....and wasnt much good at it back then either ;)

Does anyone have an idiots guide to what to do????

    HELP!
I think you might be missing the formulae from the fields where it calculates cost per item and stockpile value. These are simple formulae like =sum(D3/E3) or something like that. I can't check until later. Basically divide the price by the quantity bought :)

ooh - just doing my regualr majestic order - wondering if I shoudl inc wine in my second purse? I only buy the good offers! Don't pay for it out of groceries money but I could do a seperate wine second purse buying it back from ourselves and the rrp - that way our wine habit could become self funding!!

Ok, I don't have it open in front of me, but I'm guessing it's something like "cost per item" so in the box where that price should be type in "=sum(X/Y)" where X is the price paid box (you can click on that with your mouse) and Y is the quantity box (again click with mouse). When it's done that, I tend to click the box then drag the little + sign all the way down the column to get it to update the formulae.

Alternatively, pm me and I'll send you my email, you can then send me the spreadsheet and I'll sort it out for you :)

Ordered DR today, apparently my email address isn't registered to their site, and despite the reassuring phone call yesterday my referral gift isn't credited to my account. So I've sent them another email asking what's going on!?!?! Have ordered the half price mince again and the double sausages for Dad and sister :)

I defrosted my burgers before cooking - they were really meaty. Hope you enjoy all of the lovely meat.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!
