Second Purse Challenge 2012

Whilst I'm feeling a little teensy bit flush I thought I'd use the money I have now to order DR meat for the next 4.5 months
My parents + sister seem to be getting through 8 packs of mince in around about 6 weeks, so as well as the order for Monday of the mince + double sausages (forgot to use the 10% off code as I'm a fool, but remembered a free delivery code
), I've ordered the same again for delivery 16th April but with the code and through TCB this time (I don't use the one that charges £5), and then I've ordered the same again but included 32 chipolatas for £10 for the 1st June. So I've spent £115.40 or £25.64 a month on good quality meat for them
this isn't really part of my second purse as I'm veggie, but I wanted to thank Mothership for showing us DR as it means the animals my family eat are treated better than the SM ones and I can help them out with their groceries that they struggle to afford

So new month another £10 in the purse - I have £17.80 buring a hole in my second purse waiting to be spent on bargains - what should I get ladies???
Tuna 2 x 3 cans £5 in asda is currently my thinking but tell your fav offers?
I have £12.70 in my SP and am going to spend all of it on the cat food offer in T3sc0. I'm also going to spend the equivalent of a month's cat food budget at the same time. I think that means I'll be buying about 23 boxes!

Ok, I don't have it open in front of me, but I'm guessing it's something like "cost per item" so in the box where that price should be type in "=sum(X/Y)" where X is the price paid box (you can click on that with your mouse) and Y is the quantity box (again click with mouse). When it's done that, I tend to click the box then drag the little + sign all the way down the column to get it to update the formulae.
Alternatively, pm me and I'll send you my email, you can then send me the spreadsheet and I'll sort it out for you
Ordered DR today, apparently my email address isn't registered to their site, and despite the reassuring phone call yesterday my referral gift isn't credited to my account. So I've sent them another email asking what's going on!?!?! Have ordered the half price mince again and the double sausages for Dad and sister
Thanks very much Kerri :T
I will keep trying and see if I can do it.
It didnt seem to work with Open Office but downloaded it in Excel and it started to work and add up..........
Then I managed to lose columns A, B and C :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Think I will go for a wander to the little Tesco Express in search of reduced Lurpak and Ketchup and try again later0 -
Ooooooooooooooo *squeals* My DR order arrived :j :j How pretty
Have crammed it all into my freezer, was totally impressed with the teeny tiny packaging for the mince :T even Miss Lily got into the excitement 'oooo how pretty mummy! ooo its so exciting isnt it!'
Was all still frozen solid as well :T
Had a phonecall from DR as well saying they had no record of me referring sunflower (funny as they sent me an email saying 'thankyou for recommending *sunflower*) and after many questions I couldnt answer have said my gift will be added to my account after she places an order . . . thing is shes already placed an order :think:SPC No 002 SPC(3) £285/£250 (4) £519.84/£500 (5) £768.32/£500 (6) £911.30/£600 (7) £913.23/£600 (8) £1184.82/£750 (9) £2864.04/£750 (10) £3846.25/£1000 (11) £1779.72/£1000 (12) £1596.55/£1000 (13) £1534.70/£1000 (14) £775.60/£1000 (15) £700.20/£1000 (16) £2081.34/£1000 (17) £1691.15/£1000 (18) £225/£10000 -
Ah don't feel down, go and look at your store, it will make you smile
:grouphug:
I have a small utility cupboard which has my tumble drier in and shelves where I store my second purse bargains. The other day I was in there smiling admiring my stock and my dd asked what I was doing, I did feel a bit sillyHello Everyone
I haven't been around for a few days as my darling dad died suddenly on Sunday and we're all in shock, my mum needing lots of support. I'll have to update my 2nd purse figures another time but a bonus of the 2nd purse for me has been that I haven't had to go rushing to the shops for things, I've been able to buy them from my 2nd purse and spend my time on what is important, being with my family.
So sorry about your loss Ess-six, I know what it is like, I lost my mum and dad in the same year and they were only 53, makes you realise to live life to the full, take careGoing to check out the loo roll offer - was it Lid1?
I know L*dl have 24 C*shelle toilet roll for £6.99 starting today
TraceyOfficially debt free :j0 -
DR confused me too J-M oh well. My TCB has tracked at just over £9 for my DR order, that equals more stuff from the rainforest when it's paid
Bean-A-Castle is having a refit at the moment, I've just received my second tier of plastic shelves and my heavy duty shelves tooAlthough the plastic shelves have had a bash in the delivery which means one of the shelves doesn't work, so that can be the top one
oh well. Off to rearrange goodies on them now
My AF order has a delivery number which isn't working, so I wonder where on earth that could be eep. Maybe tomorrow.Diary: Getting back on track for 2013 and beyondDEBT FREE 13-10-13 :dance::dance::dance::dance:
