    The reason I don't use the stop/start is because if I have to stop at a junction or lights the car seems to lurch forward as the engine cuts back in, rather like taking your foot off the clutch pedal too sharp in a manual.

    I know Kia have delayed introduction of automatic stop/go cars in the US because journalists complained of an initial 'shock' when the engine started up again.
