can anyone tell me how to find out my old bank account details i have been with my new bank for 2 yrs.unfortunately i have no old bank statements or letters etc or correspondence of any kind.

You write to the bank and give your name, relevant addresses from when you had the bank account and your date of birth and they should be able to trace you that way.
