Peacocks - 20% off ALL non sale items

I go to 3 different Peacocks and the staff in all of them are just lovely. I've also spent quite a lot in there recently as I've gained an awful lot of weight in the last year and the clothes are cheaper, but nice cheap, so it made buying a new wardrobe just that little bit easier on the purse strings.
Hope not all the shops shut and at least some of the staff keep their jobs.Sealed Pot Challenge No 3060 -
Well the 20% off is nice, and the items are often cheaper and better made than primark. This is possibly the only childrens clothes shop left in our town that sells reasonably priced goods. I hope the staff jobs are safe, they are always helpful... And yes they were getting some difficult customers in there when i called in yesterday. It isnt their decision not to allow exchanges refunds or gift vouchers.

Good to see that at least some of the stores might be saved -

Is it still safe to order on Peacocks website?
I have just tested the 20% discount code I posted on the discount board and it is working on sale items.

I bought two pairs of shoes for my daughter last Saturday morning before they went into administration but she was not there to try them on. She chose the one she wanted when I got home and I took the other pair back on the same day in the afternoon as I was passing another store at a retail park on the way to visit family.
Lucky I did not wait until this week then as they probably would not have refunded me!
TJ Hughes still allowed refunds though up until a certain point until discounting got heavy so not sure why Peacocks cannot do the same?
Just feel sorry for the staff as thats 1 Peacocks and a Bon Marche wiped out in our town centre and two out of town stores.
Another hole in our town centre already losing Woolworths, TJ Hughes, Dorothy Perkins, Clintons Cards, Oasis, TK Maxx and numerous small retailers,0 -
I desperately hope a buyer is found. The bad news about Peacocks, Past Times, Pumpkin Patch and ELC has really hit home this week - the high street looks very bleak indeed. So many empty units in my local town centre.
The staff in my local Peacocks are lovely, I hope they can retain their jobs.
Disconcerting to read in that Telegraph article posted above that Tesco are waiting in the wings to snap up vacant stores left by Peacocks to turn into Express stores. Like we need more Tescos :-(0 -
Not forgetting Millets owned by the Blacks Leisure Group. The High Street looks particularly dismal. Hope somethings done soon otherwise we wont have a High Street left0

I was in the Colchester store yesterday and it appeared PCSOs had to be called in to help calm a couple of irate customers who thought it was a fraudulent situation that Peacocks were still trading under the same name but not honouring vouchers.0

I'd love to get some more Peacocks stuff, especially with this discount, but I don't have any spare cash at the moment and usually used Capital Bonds I'd gained from the survey sites.
