Just jumping on the bandwagon with an idea for B - do you think the 'brown sauce' with the sausages could be gravy?
They go well together, plus there is a little brown bull in the picture which reminds me of that gravy advert?!0 -
I think the small brown bull ornament in the picture is a reference to Birmingham - there is a statue of a bull that looks just like that at the Bullring shopping center.0

Just seen the photo on previous page and the comment above made CM66 and gravy would make sense with the previous northern comment and sausages.
Browns Liquid Assets (on paper) - Gravy ( as in 'profit or unexpected reward. Used for a long time in the business world.'- Taken from slang dictionary) So could the gravy reference be both sauce and money/assets.
Apologies if this post is wrong or already been said, only just discovered this thread and not tasted any of the flavours (got a stinking cold at moment so would be pointless trying them).0 -
Looking at the photo they have posted there seems to be a photo of a dog with the words silly sausage on it. Wondering if it could be hot dog?0

AAAAAAAARGH!!!
I just don't get the apples. The daffodils spell spring time, but when are apples on the trees in March?0 -
Latest findings on that clue-pic:
The words that I couldn't quite make out, at the top right of the newspaper - I've now got as far as:
"Crisp conditions cause (something along the lines of "widespread", "nationwide"..) disruption (?as?) population (something) (something)"0 -

My final decision ( until the next time I change my mind ) is that apple must be pork and apple sausage . With gravy . Or maybe brown sauce . And the sausages may or may not be Lincolnshire sausages . But probably not as they don't mention lincoln in the picture clue
If or when I win then I hope they don't make me eat the crisps - they were all nasty apart from a0
