... can anyone see whats written on the notes?...

Yes I can help with this:

    - lefthand side, yellow sticky below the 3 hanging utensils says (bla bla) then lists the 3 mystery types, i.e. Meaty, Dairy, Spicy

    - just below, the pic of the dog has the comment (I think) "Silly Sausage!"

    - just to the right, on the note attached to the wall by sellotape, it says: "What's That Flavour?" and "TO DO:" followed by 3 items - the first is something like "go to ?continent? ?cathedral?" (I can't quite make it out), the second one is "pick up apples", the third is "Take Sausage to BBQ"

    - on the green bus you can see through the window, it shows "GREAT BRITAIN" as the destination, with something I can't read underneath, and on the side it says "It's Our Cream" (big hint THERE!)

    - the advertising board by the bus just shows the standard ad for this comp

    - bottom right (1) - the newspaper's named "The Taste" and the headline reads "BROWN'S LIQUID ASSETS" (clue?), and it goes on to say "Saucy goings-on behind closed doors revealed"

    - bottom right (2) - under the paper there's an open cook book, and the page is headed "Gourmet cuisine from the BALTIC" and the caption on the pic on that page is (as far as is shown) "There's mo.. (more?) than meats"

Edit: Oh - there's something else at the top right of the newspaper that I can't quite make out tho I think the first word is "Crisp". Something like "Crisp nutritionalists ... disruptive ... " Anyone...?

Well, there MUST be something either welsh or Scottish, otherwise why do they say "Britain" and not just "England?
And wth do the apples fit into all this??
  • Not got any idea about the apples. Has anyone else?

The apples is doing my head in too !

We know A is five words and the it's our cream logo on the bus along with the onion on the spring on the chopping board means thats okay

C has to be some kind of balti ( maybe chicken as there's a chicken in the pond )

For b We've got brown sauce from the paper , sausage from the sausage dog so what's the apple all about then .

Is brown sauce northern or do we need a northern sausage like cumberland

    HmmmmY

I was surprised at how few people they say guessed right

Hi team, what I have so far is:

    A) Sour Cream and Spring Onion (Confident with this one)
    B) Some sort of sausage with brown sauce
    C) Balti, prob chicken. I'm thinking Spicy Chicken Balti at the moment.

I have a hunch re the apples, I think they go with B, because the sausage is a pork sausage. What usually accompanies Pork? Apple sauce. I'm thinking of Lincolnshire Sausage with Brown Sauce. Because Lincolnshire is not down south.

    What do others think?

    And what a fun comp.

Edit for add on - Ahem, guess what I just found with a little help from Google? Know what team plays in Green and Red (and a little white that hardly counts)? Wait for it...

    The answer is...

Lincoln rugby team. As in Lincoln in Lincolnshire - where the PORK sausages come from. Check it out: http://www.lincolnrugbyclub.co.uk/

Good work blu - I think you could be right and apples not actually in the title

The wallpaper has cows and pigs on it . Pork and beef sausage ? or maybe just Lincolnshire Sausage

Ooh hold on the newspaper has " not just meat on it - " maybe that means pork and apple

    Round in circles here
  • IMO flavour B is smoked salami and herbs

And of course among the clues for B we also have "This mystery flavour will bring real colour to your tastebuds" - anyone else remember "Lincoln Green" as worn by Robin Hood?
