    Morning everyone

Love and hugs to those that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x

Anyone heard from bramble? She hasn't posted for a while, hope you're ok x

Wet and windy but still quite mild here this morning. DH up and off to work at stupid early o'clock. Dinner last night was fish, chips/jacket, beans/green beans and peas. Haven't got a clue what tonight's dinner will be so will sort this when I'm in the SM.

Was reasonably productive again yesterday, got all the washing that was dry ironed and put away, made some mince pies, did menu plan and wrote shopping list, friend visited with some forms to complete for a rally we're attending, continued with shredding papers and did manage to watch programme that I had recorded on sky+.

Shortly I will be going to the bank, food shopping, then returning home to put shopping away and doing some baking/cooking, have a pair of DS2's school trousers to stitch up the hem but other than that I will just potter about or I may get chance to read my book!

Hugs to those that want/need them, keep safe and well x

    Morning All

Weightloss appears to be slowing down but i think its because i've had a cold i've not eaten enough. see how it goes at next weigh-in but i might have to start moving more :D

DD at the doctors this morning as she has a sore ear and not in the best of humour! i'll go into work later.

I go to my mums next friday for the weekend - very glad I booked it for then as January hasn't seemed as dismal as it usually does with something to look forward to! Have really 're-connected' with my sister laterly - we got very close when i got divorced and stayed so even when i moved here but when she got with her new man she was much happier than she'd been previously and so didn;t 'need' me so much so we drifted apart a bit. She get;s married in September and has asked me to do a reading which i'm pleased about (she won't let me do Pam Ayres tho :rotfl:) and she's booked an appointment for me to go and see her try on her wedding dress when im over :j

On line shop due tonight, need to go to the butchers for meat today and asd@ as I forgot to order coffee:eek:

    Hugs all round xx

    Good Morning All,

Beth that is such good news you must be so releived:j

I had a busy evening last night with parents evening and then my SW class. DS3 is doing well so far already having a few GCSE's under his belt. He has his triple science exams coming up and is hoping to do a science degree so very much concentrating on those at the moment but everything seems to be on track.
Good results at SW I lost 3.5 lbs :j:j:j and feel like I have eaten really well this week, I am determined to carry on in the same way.
Today will be the final preparations for my DB arrival tomorrow from Australia. We have moved DS3 into the little room (well shoe horned him in really he will soon have to sleep with his legs hanging out of the window:rotfl:) and cleaned the big room, just need to put clean bedding on today.
Managed to do the food shop yesterday and clean the upstairs bathroom and our room as well so today will be the kitchen and downstairs loo and both lounges and then I will be ready for visitors, I am sure he won't notice but I will know it has been done:D
Lots of things selling on ebay and still waiting for people to collect the stuff they have bought. I don't understand why people don't get in touch and organise collection straight away:mad: oh well will just have to be patient.
Anway better get on, hugs for those in need or in pain
    Happy Friday all J x

    morning!

not been here for a couple of days - not a lot to report really.
DH is off work recovering from the flu and has now got Vertigo to contend with. He's on that many pills he's rattling!

My vac is finally mended:j so yesterday I did all through the house as it was in dire need.

DH and I are off shopping this morning - I'll be driving. Not a lot else planned really, just taking it easy as next week is my busy week - 6 out of the next 7 at work.

    Redruby and Mrs_Mix - (((hugs))) get well soon RR x x x

Beth - :j:j:j wonderful news, am so pleased for you x x x

Julie - well done on the weight loss at SW:T

    have agreat day all x
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Morning all,

betheebee so glad the news was good :D

Shopping yesterday wasn't terribly MS or OS as I'd been hoping but I did mangae to get all the things I needed from town. The only thing I didn't get was my parcel from RM so I need to get in the car and go across town. It's slightly too far to walk it, but I hate using the car when it isn't essential and I can be sure there won't be a parking spot when I return.

I managed to get quite a few jobs done last night when I got home so not so much to do today, although if I kept up with my jobs in the week I'd find it even easier!!!
    • Clean Utility
    • Sweep our entry
    • Hoover upstairs
    • Mop Bathroom Floor
    • Hoover downstairs
    • Mop Downstairs floors
    • Cleanout chickens (though it's piddling it down so this might have to wait until tomorrow)
    • Clean out the fish (once I've fetched the parcel)
Lunch today is HM Parsnip soup and dinner tonight will be pie and veg, or maybe fish and veg. I'll freeze the one we don't have.

    Have a good day everyone.

    morning all

another sleepless night here. i'm sure i wouldnt be feeling half as bad as i do if i could jsut sleep as decent sleep.

anyway i'm not moaning today. have just done 45 mins on the wii fit. no idea if it really helps to lose weight but it is helping my mood a little. eating failry well. had a few off mments though. hopefully the exercise and eating a bit more regularly will shift some of this weight.

not really a lot happening today. may go for a walk. looking a bit dull out but not too cold.

beth glad to hear your results were clear :T

    hope everyone is well

  • BB good news about the lumps honey I bet you are really chuffed to bits.
JG sounds like your little one has settled into a routine very well, make sure you get enough sleep and take all help thats offered.
Well I have just done the school run with Mikey then I am just about to have some porridge as I didn't fancy it first thing this morning .I have to pick up a shelf from DDs when I go around to let the dogs out at lunchtime as we are going to decorate the little guys bedroom this weekend,I will paint it bright red for him. Then I will nip down to Aldi's to get some veg for DD for the week as she is a bit broke this month, then this afternoon I have History Club (studying the 1930s this afternoon ) before picking the boys up at 4.15 from my nieces who is meeting them from school for me .
Mikeys new bedroom used to be his sisters until she moved out before Christmas so he wants it done in red and white his footie team colours (Liverpool) so the walls will be white anaglypta and a new cherry red carpet for the floor. Its only a tiny boxroom so I said I would treat him as he is going to be a big grown up boy in his own room He has shared with his two slightly older brothers since he was a baby.Tomorrow we will be emptying the room of accumulated junk so we can paint the skirting board, ceiling and window frames on Sunday.Next weekend we will put the paper up and the carpet down hopefully. So a busy day today and tomorrow I think.still it keeps me away from the shops so I will save some cash at least (apart from the veggies :):))
Hope everyone has a good weekend and <<hugs >> to those who are feeling a bit low and sad
    Cheers chums

JG Eliza sounds a sweetie -take it easy...

lou keep up the good work

Tappers hope OH is better soon and flutterby you too!

    Hugs all round.

I am going to the gym in a bit then will do some job applications. Still trying to cheer up DH as he will be glad when the 90 day consultation period is over. The washing is nearly finished and will go out on the line shortly. I left some in the machine overnight the other day and it went all smelly so I had to do it again. Sigh...

Well have a good day all.

    Morning all.

Wm doing its stuff. Bolognese sauce defrosting. Bathroom and loos swished and swiped. Sitting room dusted and tidied. DGD's present all packed and ready for post. Fridge decluttered and wiped over. Halo polished. :D

Beth: So, you've managed to extract enough from 6 duck breasts to feed the 5,000 but there is nothing OS going on. Wash your mouth out! Brilliant news about the lumps though, you must be so relieved.

tru: Good news about the job. Perhaps if you are there long enough you might get the chance to choose your shift.

Julie67: Well done with the weight loss. Enjoy your DB's visit. It's true what they say - nothing cleans a house like company coming.

Lou: Well done that girl! It's a pain not being able to sleep though - sorry about that.

ElizaG: You're lovely. (So is your Mum)

Have a good day, painfree if possible.
