I guess your current computer is struggling a bit especially if you're watching videos on it. If you are prepared to buy the Very one then you may as well get more for your money http://www.ebuyer.com/337174-zoostorm-desktop-pc-7873-1051 Free delivery and £291 to include Windows 7.
Remember that there's no such thing as Interest Free - you still pay in the end!0 -

The problem with that machine and XP, it that it won't utilize all of the available RAM.
Though you can still use it.
There are even cheaper options That one under £170. But only a 250GB Hard drive.
Your old PC could probably do with a clean up and a trim down. Certainly removing AVG Tune Up or whatever that is...

If you are happy to stick with XP, you may be in luck....0 -

Maybe I'm a bit slow on all this, so apologies if this is out of context, And of course if you've already decided on a new PC that that is your perogative.
However as you are a heavy HDD user, please bear in mind you MUST keep 15% free at all times for Windows to work its magic (sic). If you encroach this 15% rule your system will grind to a very slow speed. Its also worth checking since from your spec I would guess that the RAM has been increased at some point that the virtual memory was increased as well - if you look on your C: drive your pagefile should be at least 2.1gb - if less than this then this will also have a negative impact on speed.0 -

OP, this may be useful as a dummies guide to the different processors. I used it to buy my recent PC because I didn't know what the different specifications meant.

I recently bought a refurbished Intel core 2 duo tower PC for £65. I have to say that I have been very pleased with it. If you do follow the link, you may need to scroll down to see it because the listing may have finished.

I'm not advocating that you buy that one, or that you buy from that seller. I just thought I'd mention that if you are on a budget, you can get some decent deals with refurbs. Obviously you need to be careful with what you are buying and from who, but I have been very pleased with mine. It also has XP on it which I wanted due to some legacy software that I am running.
Good luck with whatever you decide.0
