Your list is basically correct - though 1) their attempt to change the t&c after the event isn't really a breach - the breach occirs if/when they don't meet the t&c you signed up to (all else are herrings painted red). 2) They would be open for legal action; but in order to succeed you need to prove the breach on their part and follow the correct procedures. normally if you do they pay up without actually having to sue.
I ordered for several "new" people about 16 months ago; they found the first three claims easy peasy without a hint of problem. Some have since taken out additonal contracts, along with my "regulars". They are now seeing a different response - but I am ensuring they still get their cashback. Not as "smooth and straightforward" now - but then I always work on the basis that it may be that way.0 -
I have used both companies without any problems until very recently. Both my wife and my last cashback claims with mobiles.co.uk have been paid incorrectly (they paid less than they should). I emailed them in both cases and they responded within a couple of days saying they would raise a cheque for the difference. These haven't arrived yet but we're well within the 21-28 day window they asked me to allow.
Assuming these additional cheques arrive as promised then it's not a big problem. Just means you need to make sure the cashback cheques are for the correct amount - don't just assume they're right!0 -
Of course, you also have to be willing to allow them to break their t&c when they wouldn't let you break them.0

OK guys have taken the plunge....................
My new phone has been dispatched and is due to arrive today. Not sure what I do when it arrives, having not had one before, hopefully straightforward though.
I went through E2Save in the end and this is what I opted for, bearing in mind I don't talk or text a great deal, so the minutes/texts are ample for me.
18 month contract with T-Mobile;
Phone: Samsung Galaxy W (which is what I wanted)
Tariff: £20.42 a month, for which I get - 100 minutes 100 texts and unlimited data - which was what I wanted, I don't talk/text much but like to use the internet/facebook.
I got £30.30 through TopCashback for a new contract and opted for the redemption from E2Save as follows; 6 month = £28 cashback followed by £28 @ 9, 12, 15 and 18 months.
So the way I see it is; Samsung Galaxy W would have cost me £200 on Ebay/Amazon. The contract will cost me £367.56 over the 18 months but as long as submit the bills right I will recover £140 through redemption plus cashback of £30.30 totaling £170.30.
So 100 mins, 100 texts and unlimited data cost me £367.56 - £170.30 = £197.26 / 18 = £10.96 a month. I know it's dependant on getting all the cashback but assuming I do, I don't think I got a bad deal do you????0
