Have been using aldi brand toothpaste for a couple of weeks now and I'm not happy with it. My teeth feel as through they've developed a permanent film of plaque over them despite brushing twice daily. It also leaves an unpleasant aftertaste in my mouth. One I won't be buying again.

In Lidl, GranArom De-caff coffee is the same price as ordinary Gold £1.39 100g.
  • Had the pulled pork last night -
Easily the tastiest thing my oven has had the pleasure of making ever!!!!!
I had it on white baps (4 pack for 15p at Morrisons last night), fresh corn on the cob - 2 pack 45p from Aldi, coleslaw (30p Morrison's basics - yuk!) And I made oven fries and tossed them in Schwartz Season All. Sooo delicious!!! Will definitely be buying the pulled pork again! Tried the Aldi jelly babies last night too - taste the same as Rowntrees!
I can resist anything but temptation.

AMAZING buy at Aldi - Cornish butter £1.25, the brand is Trewithen dairy. It tastes so much better than ordinary butter, and only 25p more. I am never swapping back now :p

Also the white chocolate cookies are really nice too. Fresh raspberries seemed to go mouldy very quickly.

Thanks for the heads up about the butter could you tell me though does it spread easily ie straight from the fridge or when kept out the fridge and in a butter dish I kerp my butter in a butter dish but have found some to be quite hard to spread
    many thanks

No butter ever spreads straight from the fridge. That's why butter dishes were invented ;)

I love the silver pack butter from Aldi, it's well worth those extra few pence and is the only one my family will eat now :)

Thanks for the butter heads up, Trewithen butter is my favourite (I usually end up bringing several packs back from Cornwall with me!) Sticking with Trewithen, Aldi now stocks clotted cream from Trewithen Dairy, can't remember the exact price but think a pot is around £1.30.

I also find the raspberies go mouldy quickly.

A recent favourite purchase from Aldi is their Lacura cotton pads - 2 packets of 100 pads for 99p - these are brilliant for removing eye make up and nail varnish as they have a quilted effect which means they don't shred.
