Shell.. I am hoping they are better with the specs.. IF I can ever afford to collect them! I am thinking of neglecting paying someone just so I can get them this week! I think I may be so tired because I need them too.. it is so draining just doing simple things.. like my sewing and knitting.

DS1 just ate half my fresh baked loaf so I now have to put another one in for the morning and stay up until at least midnight for it to be finished.. I wanted to go to bed early too!

I have a wash load of dresses that need to be on hangers too.. *sigh*

I have to be up earlier than usual too because DD2 has to have a shower, she would have had one tonight if my bathroom wasn't in total disarray.

    right.. bread..

    Back in 10!!!

We need a chat room.. mind you we'd get nothing done then!!

Pigpen, I use the monthly disposable lenses. When I had my last test my eyes had improved so my current glasses prescription was too strong but as I was going over to contacts I did not want to fork out £100+ for new glasses I would not really be using. While over at Mums at xmas my eyes played me up so took contacts out and used old glasses for a day, I had really bad head (like a migraine - or how I think one would feel, sickness, sensitive to light etc). I know you want to pay off your debts asap but you have to put your health first. If it is lack of glasses that have had you feeling so ill/tired lately think off all you can achieve when your wearing them!!

dryer on both WM's back on.. DW back on (3rd time today) BM back on. I just started my bottles of fairy fabric conditioner which I got for 99p each.. bargain.. so I sticked up.. and I only have one bottle of the lenor left, but it was at the back of the cupboard... the fairy one smells really nice.. let's see if it makes me itch and scratch some more!!!

  • hi folks. I have had anice day today as was mega busy yesterday. House still tidy. Made beds and picked everything up from floors upstairs. Made DS tidy his room or he was not getting out to play( love this weather as that punishmnet is soooo effective) Made chicken casserole in slow cooker ( OMG it was to die for) Had tats and broccoli from organic box and you really can taste the difference. Kids have been moaning about yuk potatoes for months and both wolfed these down. Did 3 loads of wash and some ironing. Went to cemetery. The kind of day I like to have on a Sunday TBH and all thanks to being up to date and organised for once. Loving it xx

  • Ha Ha Pigpen that is so funny!

Looking forward to my first fly day tomorrow - I hope I manage that and going to work. I am getting up early tomorrow and will start getting some bits done then hopefully get into some kind of rhythm.

I've had a lovely day - extremely lazy, just reading the papers and eating a gorgeous roast dinner. Today kerfuffle with me and the OH was watching him pour half a bottle of £7 wine into the roasting tray to make the gravy. The gravy ended up costing as much as the lamb joint we had! I couldn't believe it!

Just spent 20 minutes catching up with everyone.

    pigpen, no jury would convict!;)

    Welcome to all the newcomers!

I have been out all day selling plants at a snowdrop and hellebore day locally, and I have only just about thawed out. Left instructions for roast chicken dinner, and they all coped, and did all the washing up as well!:D

Just going to check the new thread for tomorrow. End of halfterm here, working tomorrow morning, then back on my course Tuesday, so speedflying next week.

 I think I would have been tempted to do the same, with the hammer!

DP got takeaway for us as he was back late, he still paid, I know it's hs birthday but he's been out playing cars all day. Oh and he thinks I am harsh as I made him put the boxes in the bin! I still have the plates etc to wash.

I've cancelled 6 opticians appointments because of the cost, I know I need glasses (have never needed them before but can't see things and major headaches) it's just the ££££ involved!
One day I might be more organised...........
