Morning Flybabies
Punky - Thinking of you. I just don't know what else to say.
Moggins - Get well soon!
Everyone else - hugs etc as appropriate
Well I havan't done much flying this week and it shows! After cleaning the bathroom on Tuesday I managed to hoover through the livingroom and kitchen and we've sort of kept up with the washing up but thats it
We've had lots of lie-ins, Wednesday afternoon we went to the Walker Art Gallery with DD who was bored within a few minutes  Then for a walk along the river. Nothing for Valentines day except a card but thats where we are at the minute
Yesterday we went to Chester for the dayHad a really good walk, DD was unbelievably good but I was very naughty. We had McDonalds for lunch (£9ish) and then we get KFC on the way home (another £9). I did go to Argos though and pick up a slow cooker and mini-food processor so it wasn't all bad :j
OH is off for a weekend away at a friends house down south, somewhere near London. Not happy about it as I don't like being left in the house on my own at night but I've got to get over it at some point
Plans for today are not even thought about yet, except I need to go and get OH's underwear dry, he decided to tell me last night at 11pm that he had no clean socks to take with him  Also need to post over on the Tax boards about a problem we have:mad: Will see what else happens as the day goes along  Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
morning. It's almost the weekend. :T
I'm finally feeling almost human again after my cold, so i have been a busy little bee this morning, and baby has been an angel and let me get on.- had a bath
- cleaned loo, s & S bathroom
- me and baby both dressed
- load from WM hung on bannister
- towels stuck in WM. Will put on later this afternoon once my friends have been and gone
- last nights dishes put away
- breakfast dishes washed
- kitchen sides wiped
- swept laminate in living/dining room
- hoovered rug in LR, and kitchen carpet
- washed LR window sill, although one of the cats promptly walked on it again
- fed cats
- moved my valentines flowers onto clean window sill (first bunch of flowers in a long time from DH - don't know what got into him, but i'm making the most of them
)
- played cat relay - as one goes in, the other goes out - all morning. Trying to dry them as they come in to minimise mess. Now that is fun chasing them with a towel.
Have a nice day everyone

I've caught up with my bedroom (which was on yesterday's list) and I vacuumed the other two rooms and the landing while I had the vacuum up there. I've got washing draped round the house because it's raining again but at least it's washed.
Lunch cooking now, I've got a banging headache which I hope is hunger and will disappear soon.
I'd like to sort through some cupboards but I'm not sure I've got the stamina to start and finish. Maybe over the weekend.0 -
:hello:
Ok so i'm just taking a little break now, started on my front room and have ended up completely changing it around, moved furniture, tv, computer, i have thrown away 2 big black bags full of crap!

Hey all,
Well it's been a while since I've posted on here (mostly because I've not been keeping up with moggins lists!). Had every good intention with being off for half term this week but things never go to plan do they!!
However, I'm taking bits from each days list and getting the main jobs done slowly.
I was wondering though if anyone had any tips for cleaning carpets? As I'm in a first floor maisonette my front door opens onto my (carpeted) stairway. The first 2/3 stairs are starting to look very muddy as they tend to be where feet get wiped - not intentionally of course! I'll ask on a new thread if not.
The obvious answer would be a mat at the bottom of the stairs for feet wiping but I've been through 3 already as my cat seems to see them as an alternative litter tray!Wandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -
Loumac. How about one of the rubber mats.. or one of the short pile ones you can put in the washing machine? The cat might not like to poop on those as much and any residue left on can be washed away simply. Unlike one of mine which was sick in the middle of the floor and again on 3 coats!!! yesterday.. he has now been made into slippers!! lol
I've been round the house and closed doors!!!!! The whole house is foggy due to DH's dust.. I am putting shorty to bed soon as she won't stop whinging and taking 2 or 3 of the others to shop with me just to get them out of the house and dust. I have a couple of parcels to post and need a few bits from shop anyway.
Next week is going to be fun.. cleaning up dust from every nook and cranny in the entire house! Sometimes I REALLY don't like my husband!
Off to find some lunch and check up on the whereabouts of that cuppa DD1 was meant to be making half an hour ago!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Well I rescued myself a cuppa, ate a couple of chocolate biscuits.. needs must and all that.
I've found 4 pairs of brand new school trousers for DD1.. good job really as I just put her old ones away for DD2. I knew I had some somewhere! I've put a binbag of outgrown stuff away for the next one down.
While DH is busy demolishing my house I may go sort through DD3 & 4's chests of drawers I'm sure there are a few things I can fling!
There has already been one guy raiding our skip.. I love it.. I swear if you permanently left a skip outside your hosue it would never get full because as one person puts one thing in someone else takes something out!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Afternoon all.
I didn't have a very productive day yesterday as I was called to work (I do supply so its just as and when), so all plans for finishing my full clean of the bedroom went out the window but I did manage -
hoover & dust bedroom, WM, ss bathroom and ironing.
Not sure what I have done but woke this morning with a very sore shoulder and collar bone, vaguely remember reaching to lift up dd2 earlier in the week with this arm and feeling it sore but I don't think the ironing last night helped.
Anyway list for today;
[STRIKE]grocery shopping[/STRIKE]
make meals for freezer from shopping on hob at the mo
wm x3two down one to go
[STRIKE]change kids beds[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]ss kitchen[/STRIKE]
mop kitchen floorwill leave this of OH tonight
hoover main areas
uniforms into wash and shoes polished
I will need to get through all this this afternoon as I am out tonight - a friend is hosting a pampered chef(??? not been to one before) party and well that glass of white wine has my name on it ans is calling.0 -

The Golfers
A man staggered into a hospital with a concussion, multiple bruises, two black eyes, and a five iron wrapped tightly around his throat. Naturally, the Doctor asked him, "What happened to you?"
"Well, I was having a quiet round of golf with my wife, when at a difficult hole we both sliced our balls into a cow pasture. We went to look for them and while I was looking around I noticed one of the cows had something white at its rear end."
" I walked over, lifted its tail, and sure enough, there was a golf ball with my wife's monogram on it - stuck right in the middle of the cow's !!!!."
Still holding the cow's tail up, I yelled to my wife, "Hey, this looks like yours!' "
"I don't remember much after that ..."
