Van insurance - £3K!!!!

Can this possibly be right?

We are buying a van for our business for the lad who works for us to drive (he is 21)

We are getting quotes in at around £3K!

The van is only worth £2K!!

You are mistakenly looking at the quotes v the value of the van.

Your insurer will be taking on far more risk than a £2K van!!

Van drivers do drive stupid, even the mrs did when she had a 206 hdi van
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

    It's a generalisation.

Though it's know that company vehicle drivers are more likely to have accidents then people who own their vehicle.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

That will stop when i come into power and bring back hanging for this offence.

Currently they get banned and a couple of hundred £ fine, And carry on as before.

I know some posters on here slate them but i got a good deal with Swintons (less than £300) less than half of the next nearest quote.

It isn't just MSE members who have bad experiences with them (but you will find plenty if you do a search here!)

Have a search across the net and you will see there is a reason why they are cheap!
