We are buying a van for our business for the lad who works for us to drive (he is 21)
We are getting quotes in at around £3K!
The van is only worth £2K!!

You are mistakenly looking at the quotes v the value of the van.
Your insurer will be taking on far more risk than a £2K van!!0 -

Van drivers do drive stupid, even the mrs did when she had a 206 hdi vanDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Though it's know that company vehicle drivers are more likely to have accidents then people who own their vehicle.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

It isn't just MSE members who have bad experiences with them (but you will find plenty if you do a search here!)
Have a search across the net and you will see there is a reason why they are cheap!
