We are not trying to take on O2 or the likes of as we do not offer contracts only PAYG we are unfortunately unable to offer any free minutes or SMS messages.
"WE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE" ?????

well my new o2 contract is 30 day contract only with no notice after my first 30 days, payg from easymobile gonna have to do some better deals for my fellow MSE'rs as we are on the ball, not a fall ;)

ladies and gentleman...I give you the best value mobile sim only deal with payment in arrears not upfront, and online billing!
http://www.o2promotions.co.uk/doubletalkdoubletext/?ref=HpSkyDoubletext

"easyMobile.com’s entry into the British mobile market has ignited a battle between the company and the incumbent players, where Orange felt forced to initiate an absurd court case regarding the use of the colour orange, Virgin Mobile to act in a way that can only be characterised as panic and Fresh (CPW) to make drastic price decreases to avoid mass defection of customers to easyMobile"

Think easymobile better think fast before o2 grab custom from all ya!

even with the 2p/6p deal it would cost me £40 for texts and £48 for calls, a grand total of £88 for the same 800 mins and 2000 texts I can easily obtain from o2 thats just marginally under half the price of £45 o2 charge me ( or £2 more for 1600 mins and 4000 texts on my 2 handsets ) & if you have poor credit (which a large demograph of payg users do) o2 will give you the deal with a £50 deposit if your credit records not great

think your superiors want to be buying a massively massive wholesale from T mobile and marketing it "the cheapest mobile option in the UK" or else you may become another Atlantic Dolphin whom failed to "MAKE THE DIFFERENCE"
pass all this info on to the top of your Stelios tree and "SEE WHAT YOU CAN DO"

Lastly easymob support.........

Do I work for o2?

HELL NO

and until recently I'd never thought I would be a o2 customer again, how times change :D

FYI I use my mobile more than ever, approx costs and network per month x2 handsets

O2 1998-1999 £300 * #
T-mob 1999-2001 £240 * #

T-mob 2002-2003 £175 * #

o2 March 2005 £90 800 mins 2000 texts each handset

*various mid - high usage tarrifs
# 12 month contracts

(just realised my mobile bills are 2/3rds cheaper than ever but my usage gone up approx treble, lol, yee haa...about time)

my contract deal:
Monthly rental pays for inclusive call minutes and access to the O2 network. We give you text messages every month in addition to your monthly minutes.

Please note that you can use your free messages to send text or media messages if you have selected a Media Messaging Phone.

Your messaging bundle allows you to send up to 500 (up to 1000 on Online 400) text messages or 125 (up to 250 on Online 400) media messages (or a combination of the two) per month. One media message is equivalent to 4 text messages. Online Offpeak 300, Online Offpeak 1000, Online 50 and Online Pay As You Go Talkalot do not have an inclusive media message bundle.

3 Video calls are only available on compatible 3G phones. Please check individual handset specifications for details of which phones have this feature.

****For 3G services, video calling minutes are priced identically to voice minutes and are also included in free minutes bundles (one voice minute = one video call minute)****

4 Texts sent from the UK to another country. Subscribers to International Traveller Service and Discount Country will only be charged at 12p per international text.

I've just had a look on the o2 website and cannot see the £15 payg tariff you mention. Can you provide a link for this?

With O2 PAYG I pay £10 a month and that gets me 100 anytime anynetwork minutes as a bonus and I STILL have the £10 to spend on calls charged at 25p first 3 mins then 5p a min peak and 2p a min at weekends.
My previous post pasted here

Hi all,
I am on O2 PAYG ( 25p for 1st 3 minutes per day then 5p after that and 2p at weekends, landline and other O2)and have found some info that you may or may not already know but I hope its usefull to someone.

1. When you top up £10 a month you get 300 text messages free, now I didn`t know but these can be converted to 100 anytime/anynetwork minnutes fror free. So in effect for £10 you get 100 minutes PLUS a further £10 of call time. ( the 100 free minutes can also be used as text messages or a combination of both) The link is here
http://shop.o2.co.uk/shop/choosetariffs

2. Get 10% of all top ups back every 3 months simply by sending a text.Link here
http://www.o2.co.uk/o2rewards

3. Upgrade at reduced cost. I got £45 off a new phone last week.
http://www.o2.co.uk/productsservice.../0,,104,00.html
AND get 10% back on top ups.

I`ts not clear to me if you can claim both 10% discounts as I bought my phone just before 1st April when this offer started.

So if I top up £20 each month I get ( assuming the £20 covers the cost of the first 3 minutes each day at 25p and phone is used 26 days a month, thats 75p x 26 days)
100 anytime/anynetwork mins
78 minutes to landline or O2 peak rate.( thats the 3 mins per day )
£2 bonus that will get me 40 mins peak or 100 minutes weekend to other O2 and landlines. Of course, if you use your phone less than 26 days a month you are quids in.
If I need to pay for extra its 5p or 2p a minute.

An added bonus is that during the day and at weekends O2 is the cheapest to call from a landline ,In fact if on the mobile caller plan with BT its cheaper to use BT than 18866. link here
bt prices to mobiles
On the internet you can be anything you want. It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.

details as bestyman says above call 2425 from your o2 mobile (free call) and listen "for the calls and messages" bolt on for details, should you top up £15 a month you get 150 off peak mins to £30 gets you 300 OP mins too!!, see here http://www.o2.co.uk/productsservices/tariffs/pay_go_talkalotmore/0,,112,00.html

"The more you talk the cheaper your call rate gets. Plus get 300 free evening & weekend mins to UK mobiles and Std UK landlines subject to £30 or more monthly top-up, or 150 free evening & weekend mins subject to £15 - £29 monthly top-up"
However I didnt know you kept your £10 as credit, easymobile is looking even more a dud deal now

these Payg deals are compatible with 3G handsets!!

Just to pour a bit of cold water on this: as I said in my previous post, I don't regard any deal with expiry time built into it (such as monthly "bundles" or free minutes or messages with monthly tarriffs) as directly comparable to a pure PayG service where you pay for what you use, whatever your call patterns.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

£80/month? With the best cashback deal from 3 it is possible to only pay £10 a month for 750 mins plus 150 texts....
I think....
• I didn't realise that you could 'convert' the 300 free texts on O2 Talkalot free SIMS to 100 xnet/anytime minutes - thanks for the info Bestyman.
• I dunno - this company seems alright, if 07744 is cool then I'll sign up, I just can't justify 45 quid a month anymore and I really don't text that much!
