Its not just Ebay that gets flooded with fake goods, market stalls can be just as flooded.

If I want a genuine branded item, I generally opt to buy direct from the wholesaler or company, I tend not to trust Ebay for genuine goods, its the only way I can ensure and trust the item I get is authentic.

Thats the way to do it really. I'm not really bothered about fakes as long as I'm aware that is what they are. I bought a few things in Egypt, including a pair of GHD's for a staggering £20. Obviously fake, but again so spot on it would be almost impossible to tell. Great as a spare pair though ;)
  • Hi i purchased these today. i am now worried that they are not genuine and have tried to cancel payment but it has already gone through.
    What should i do now??

With incredibly difficulty. We were in Egypt before Christmas where fakes are rife, we knew that at £10 a pair they were fakes. The kids bought some each and side by side with their genuine pairs I'd challenge anyone to know.

They came in Converse boxes with all the tags, the soles are identical, the logos identical, the insoles identical.

Now they've had a year's wear, can you tell us if the fakes wore out more quickly.

Otherwise, the best advice would seem to be: Go to Egypt to get them. :D

Easy to check before bidding, the seller has 2 feedbacks for fake goods...

Also, no actual pictures of the boots, just stock photos. You might be lucky but you'll have to wait until they arrive.

why buy anything like this from ebay anyway, id rather go to a shop and buy some or buy form an official seller of the boots.
