So, would someone from up on high care to explain how the original thread broke the rules....
Some MoneySaving boards, e.g. Marriages, Relationships & Families and Old Style etc have evolved over recent years to become more than just about MoneySaving. We want people to use the site to help them save money and if discussing other issues not strictly related to it also help them then we're happy with that. As long as these discussions/questions don't break our rules we're happy for them to stay.
Just so that we don't break them in future please.
Thanks awfully.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -

And could they also clarify when was a thread moved previously on that particular board? I haven't seen one in ages. Why was it just that particular thread and how is it any less relevant than a thread about boredom ( that doesn't involve families and moneysaving)?0 -
Maybe I am the only one , but when I log on I just press the new posts button , I never notice( nor care) what board the post is in , so I cant see what the fuss is about . I have noticed that the OP does start an awful lot of threads thoVuja De - the feeling you'll be here later0

so? has that also become a sinI have noticed that the OP does start an awful lot of threads tho
starting a thread is not a sin, however on the other hand, treating threads callously and moving and merging and generally jackbooting on a board simply because they are a bg is a sin, imo
injustice breeds injustice, we cannot cover up mistakes simply because it is committed by the-one-who cannot be questioned and think it would just vanish - it won't I am afraid
on that note, I'm out of this thread0 -

I'm under the impression it may have been reported to the Forum Team by an MSE'r. Please note, I do not know that as actual fact.
IF this was the case, then it was clearly someone with a grudge against me personally rather than someone who genuinely felt the thread was not suited there. If it was a genuine concern, then other threads would have been reported too.
I'm told the BG's did not move it.... I have noticed that the OP does start an awful lot of threads tho
And that is relevant because?
It's your opinion. Which really doesn't count as it in no way accurately reflects any forum rule that states 'you can only start x amount of threads per week/month/year.
Perhaps someone felt the same as you do and reported the thread 'just because', perhaps they had enough of my threads?
Mmmm, what would be worse? My intensive use of MSE or their action? At least my actions are not bourne from malice.
Of course perhaps that's not the case at all.Herman - MP for all!

charming, maybe the arms is for you after all....
I spend a long time on this site formulating my replies to ensure they are fair and inoffensive. If I inadvertantly offend, then I apologise.
In this case, I make no apology for treating like with like.
If you are going to call me for my reply, perhaps you should call the poster I replied to for their post too, given that it is in the same vein?Herman - MP for all!

I was angry someone locked the thread whilst I was deleting my posts and that meant no-one else could delete theirs either (and I know some wanted to).
So I pm'd a BG and asked for it to be deleted completely.
I have messaged the FT but not had any reply. I do understand how busy they are though and this will be just a triviality for them, despite being important to me.Herman - MP for all!

deleting posts is just the online version of a tantrum0

Hi aliasojo
I'm not entirely sure why it went to the Arms either but without knowing the original content I can't be sure.
If you're happy to start it again, perhaps on the health board, please do.Could you do with a Money Makeover?
