Halifax Cardcash

Anyone else got one of these mickey mouse accounts. I have had the account years
Does it have a cheque book? I seem to remember maybe having one in the past but have no idea where it is now or whether it was even on this account. I know the card is only an electron so not a cheque guarantee but occasionally I need to send off the odd cheque.
For example, when doing my SAR to claim back charges or writing one out to ope my account with citibank.
I did try giving halifax a bell but they are busy and cant get through to them so I thought I would post here and maybe someone could answer in the mean time.
Cheers

Is the easycash account the new name for the cardcash then?0

I've got two cardcash accounts. When I opened the accounts I was asked if I wanted a cheque book. I said yes to the one account. No cheque guarantee card though.0

i will give them a call tomorrow then i need to order a new card anyway as the numbers wear off so quick and they only last a month or 2 so ill order a cheque book at same time hopefully.
Ill post tomorrow to confirm whether i am able to get one on the card cash account.0 -
cardcash is the old account i think?
I have one of these and have a cheque book but only an electron card
they have now started the easycash accounts which dont have cheque books, but if you are one of the previous "cardcash" customers you can still order and get your cheque books
a case of "old customers only"0 -

Give it a try, they can only say no. I know what you mean about the cards though, I seem to get through them at a tremendous rate. Am always requesting new ones.0 -
Went in to ask about a cheque book for my Cardcash account (it is Cardcash, with Visa Electron) and was told that they no longer offer a cheque book with it, under any circumstances.0
-
They did used to do cheque books - but no longer as this account has not been applied for for over a year
Eachcash is the new basic account
If you had the facility when you applied, you may be able to get one0 -
Yeah I've got a cheque book with it, definitely! Don't use it very often though, think I've probably had the same one for about 18 months.0
