Buyer no longer want to sell because I took too long to collect.

  • I also agree with OP, it's the principal. He bid on an item and was told he could collect, but the seller was not available. Never mind his dad, his dad didn't sell it. He shouldn't have said it could be collected if he wasn't going to be around. Fair enough, it's only a cheap item, but it's still the principal, they haven't been in touch or anything when they could have saved the buyer some time. I'd do a NPS, if he responds to it saying you haven't collected you can say you still want it, or if he says that he wants to keep the item then it shows he's at fault.

I bet you didn't have any such problems with the purchase of your Kinetico Water Softener eh? :rotfl:

I will be able to tell you after I have collected it at the weekend if it all goes OK. I have paid and he has phoned me and agreed a collection time so it looks ok so far. £255 is a good price.

It is nice to know that you care enough about me to search ebay but I am still going to dob you to the taxman.

Your still going to jail Snoozy. :D

    And he has now replied.

“I have re considered and will let you have the guitar tuner as agreed. If you ring my father he is available this week for you to collect it. Just give him a call. Thankyou.”.

Though talking about time wasting, how many man hours have now been spent writing and reading about a £3.71 item.

This is exactly why I said you were a time waster :rotfl:

How is it "cornering" if he auctioned the item and its starting price himself? Oh and what kind of student starts studying for their May uni exams in Feb? Which FYI is about 2 weeks after the Jan exams have finished and most students are still partying!
