If you need one / cant afford one, then great, take advantage of the offers.
If you order one just because its free / or to re-sell then thats really out of order.

Hi all - got my FON router the other day and trying to set it up now, it's incompatible with my standard Orange modem, but I bought an Orange wireless router from eBay a while ago and it works with that (yes I have THREE wireless signals).

When I connect to the public signal though, it gives full access to the Internet instead of the FON webpage as it says it should, has anyone had this problem and have an easy solution? the manual is HUGE!

I actually got a couple of these routers a few months ago; got myself a nice little wireless link from my brother's house (which has DSL) to my parents' place (which had no internet before), and it works great.

In true MSE style, I'm aplifying the signal with a Chinese frying-pan skimmer; perfect parabola!

That said, I noticed recently that the offer has changed, and the routers offered are now absolute piles of something-or-other, instead of the fancy WRT54G's they used to be. Can anyone confirm that this is the case with the routers they've received?
