She was extremely foolish indeed to go onto (live?) TV about this. Her attempts to try to describe this as some sort of business opportunity/venture among friends were laughable. Her only hope is that the relevant authorities are too busy and don't have enough resources to investigate.

Lindi came into the studio for an interview and she came out with the old arguments that she wasn't doing anything illegal, she had checked with a solicitor that the scheme was pukka, and that everyone would not only get their money back but everyone would make a profit. Stupid deluded woman.

It's interesting to see some of the comments on the Watchdog site. Most are sensible, but there are a few from people who claim that they have received large payouts, cannot see anything wrong with what they are doing and are accusing everyone else of trying to sabotage the scheme. Now where have I heard that before? Of course from our old friend giveandtake !
