I should also like to check out that so-called paperwork that is supposed to make this scam "legal". And what on earth is the "Bath Court" ?What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Morning,
You know exactly where the money comes from......... When I gave my money at the beginning it came from my bank account along with 7 other peoples bank accounts!! I am sure you are an Ultra Intelligent person and would like nothing better than to trip this thing up, its entirely your right to not agree with it!! Its not foolproof and you take a huge risk, its a very simple concept that everyone involved understands!!
I am not a legal brain who fully understands the legal system when it comes to trading standards or the gambling act, I have seen the paperwork from the court system in Bath, I am sure that this can be checked up on if you tried hard enough......... Im just saying that the legal file that is on full display for you to read before your "invest" was good enough for me. Maybe the reason why the Police or whoever "cant be bothered" to investigate it is because there are young people dying out there due to gun/knife crime and their resources are better used elsewhere rather than a bunch of housewifes and mothers giving money to each other of their own free will.0 -
Those seven people who gave you money have now got to go out and recruit seven other people each to get their money back, and those seven people then have to recruit seven more people, etc. etc. If you do the maths you would realise that very soon there would not be enough people in the world for the scheme to keep running. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Oh........ I forgot to say that I have purchased many, many bargins over the years and have used them time and time again so you may have to expand on that comment for my half a brain to understand!!!0

So, when I put in my 3k in June I was a victim and now that I have been paid out I am a con-artist??? In actual fact I am a normal hard working woman who last time I looked had a fully functioning whole brain, not half a one!!
This was my (very) hard earned money and if I and many others choose to risk it then so be it!!
My sister has just lost her house due to recent events, did anyone tell her not to put her money into property 18 months ago.........NO!! Isnt everything we do one big risk??
I am a firm believer in the fact if you cant afford to lose £3000 or £1500 then dont bloody well do it, how simple is that concept?? Everyone who is involved in the Give and Take charts (yes!! that does include Men also) are fully aware of the pitfalls, it can stop at anytime if 1 or 2 people lose interest then it will fail miserably. We have a committee (unpaid!!) who rule this thing with an iron fist to ensure we are within the realms of being legal, no advertising, no emails, no Facebook and certainly no leaflets. Why dont you check out Bath Courts where we have received all the paperwork to say we are legal!!
Obviously I cannot speak for the other 500 or so charts but ours has been a pleasure to be involved in........no fallings out or catfights, just a handful of people trying to scrape through life with babies on the way and Christmas to pay for, we are NOT scam artists...
I very much disagree with the comments that just a minority people get rich of the back of others, I would say that it is the exact opposite, a huge majority of people get their money, a very small minority will fail......
You and the fellow members of these charts certainly are criminals if you or they have invited any person to join one these schemes. The reason why there is no advertising, no emails, no Facebook and no leaflets is so that there is as little evidence as possible that can be brought to the attention of the relevant authorities.
The overwhleming majority who join theses schemes lose money - the mathematics is inescapable. I would like to see your properly worked out calculation that shows only a minority will lose money."You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0 -
If you don't believe me giveandtake perhaps you should read this :-
http://www.dyfed-powys.police.uk/en/advice/fraud/pyramid/
Especially this section :-
Look at the basic maths
This simply cannot work. If one person needs 8 more to ensure their money, those eight need 64 to provide theirs. Those 64 require 512 who in turn need 4,096 recruits, who then need 32,768, who require a further 262,144 and so on. By the tenth level of the pyramid more than 134 million will be required, more than 4 times the female population of the UK!
Perhaps the organisers of your scheme have got a special cloning machine whereby you put in one £50 note and it gives out seven of them, because that's the only way you are going to get enough money to pay back everyone in the scheme. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -

If you were so flush why did you not help your sister out and stop her loosing her house, If this is a guranteed bet you could have given her £3k to get on another chart and she would have got a payout and not lost her house.
On a seperate note, when are you paying the taxman as i think 23k is additional income. isn't it.0 -

Reading some of the comments attached to that article is frightening. It does show how many gullible (or greedy) people there are around who can believe they can magic money out of thin air. There are some sensible people on that forum, but it looks as though those few fools who think they are going to make a fortune have been so brainwashed that only losing all their money will finally convince them they have been conned. I suppose you could look upon it as a tax on stupidity. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
