The booking page has a section to enter the number of adults and then another for the number of children, so yes they are :)

    Hi Cookie,
When i entered 3 / 2/ or even 1 children, it just says, "children not permitted"? I even tried 2 rooms.
Just wondering if anyone took kids the last time?
    TIA

Oo.. I just tested, and you're right... how odd?! Maybe drop them an email to ask, it's billed as a "innovative new business hotel" so perhaps they dont, i just assumed as they mention on booking page that they would.

I don't think they allow kids at all - it's not really a hotel designed for having kids to stay.. not a family hotel at all - you'd be better off looking for a travelodge.

In the FAQ it says if you want to pay by debit card you have to call them. I'm assuming that means that those of without credit cards can't get hold of the £1 rooms because I saw earlier that you can only book these online, not by phone. Anyone managed to get a £1 room with a (non-visa) debit card?
  • I called to ask about children - we have a 2.5yo toddler and the lady said that would be fine, just to mention it on the comments.

Just a couple of questions re the booking form:
    - has anyone got the link to the non-flash html booking page?
    - is it the same booking page that you get now or is it a different one especially designed for the offer?

I sent an email myself, got this reply:
Although our website state that children are not permitted (on booking form) we are not going to refuse children to stay. However I would like to take this opportunity to state that we do not have any children's facilities at this hotel.

  • NO SMOKING!!!
  • I didn't try booking last time round so I'm not entirely sure how it's going to work.

Is it the first 500 bookings get it for a pound, or are there specific days when the £1 rooms are available?

If it's specific days, will it give a list or will you have to search them out?
