    Spooky - spent last night at the Hoxton! £29 room from the last time round.

    Really nice place - well worth £29 a night and a great location for the tube.
    2012 wins approx £11,000 including 5k to spend on a holiday :j

    Will you be able to book multiple nights @ £1, or even £29? Would be looking to spend the weekend there! Ta...
    Think the £1 rooms are restricted , though some people ( see below) booked two - but pretty sure can get several £29 rooms- however only one at a time so you could be booking Friday while Saturday is selling out. I think the best bet is to go as near the end as you can as they booked out weekends first from the start of the time period.
  • is the booking transferrable? I have a reservation which I don't think I can keep and would like to pass it onto a friend
  • Wish there was a way to book one night at £1 and the second night for £29... any ideas on how to do this?

    Bookings are transferable. I booked 2 separate nights last time at £29 each, couldn't go on one of them and they accepted a name change by e-mail so my sister could go instead.
  • I emailed the Hoxton to check the dates for the £1 offer which are as follows:

    10th April until 30th June

    Just got this message in my inbox...

    The link is http://www.hoxtonhotels.com/specialoffers.php?code=E121AF43FD93515

    Because we love you…..

    * 500 rooms for just £1
    * 1000 more for just £29

    Available on Wednesday 14th February 2007 at 5pm.

    Last November all the rooms sold out in just 35 minutes so you'll need to be quick….

    To book, click here...
    (Don't be impatient. The link is only valid from Wednesday at 5pm...)

    For those that miss out on the £1 and £29 offer, there will also be over 1,000 rooms being sold at:

    * £59
    * £79
    * £99

    All rates include VAT and a light Pret Breakfast and are valid from dates from the 9th April through to the 30th June 2007.

    If you haven’t used our website to book a room before, you might want to take a look at the site to familiarise yourself. The reservations system is quite clunky. Our technology providers promise to make it better soon (not soon enough in our opinion!)

    Remember, these rates are only available on our website and we cannot take bookings or queries by phone (sorry, we can’t offer rates at £1 and operate a call centre!)If you do have any queries on the day, please call 0845 888 1300

    Click here for a full list of rules...

    Good luck!

  • Does anyone know what dates the £1 rooms will be for? I can't find it on the site. 10 April to 30 June - thanks zoobenny

    Also, does anyone who got one last time have any good advice?

    I remember people saying that those who already had an account had an advantage because they didn't have to fill all their details in. Can you get an account without booking a room? I can't see a way.

    Before it was also mentioned that using the htlm site was more sucessfull than using the flash site. Umm, so how do you do that?

    Sorry if I sound desperate... but I am :D
    :p Proud to be a MoneySaver! :p

    Parking info

    What about parking?
    The hotel does not have its own parking. We recommend the NCP in Finsbury Square where the hotel has a special rate of £1 per hour up to a maximum of £14 for 24 hours. To access this rate, please obtain a voucher from reception on check in. Please note this car park is in the Congestion Charge Zone which operates from 07:00 - 18:30 Monday - Friday and is currently £8 per day. For more information, refer to https://www.cclondon.com
