£1 London Hotel Rooms

UPDATE NOTE 5.35pm 14 Feb
Sadly, all the £1 rooms have now gone, though thankfully many MoneySavers have reported grabbing them. If not you may still be able to get a room at £29 which is still very substantially discounted. If you have trouble accessing the booking system, try using the hotel's HTML site which is easier to access.
What's it about?
A hotel in Hoxton, London is offering rooms for £1 a night for bookings between 9 April and 30 June. The price even includes breakfast! There are 500 rooms at the special rate, and you can book them online from 5pm Wednesday 14 February 2007. It is very likely these will all be gone by 5.30pm at the latest so ensure you get the timing right.
At that price surely the rooms can't be that good?
See for yourself. Check out the hotel's photo gallery.
Why the hurry if they're not available yet?
The hotel run this £1 offer twice before and the rooms went like proverbial hotcakes. This time 500 rooms will be offered at £1 so if you are looking to stay in London between April and June, then get online at 5pm sharp.
What if I can't get a £1 room?
Once the £1 rooms are sold out for a particular night the next cheapest is £29, still not a particularly bad price for a room in London.

After my experience last time this came up when I experienced a lot of frustration trying to book , from that experience I would undeline the importance of finding out how to get the page without all the fancy graphics and also if posible registering with them as I am sure most of the £1 rooms went to people who did not have to navigate putting in a credit card before the room was confirmed.
Do others agree?0 -
Could I book one night and OH book the next night?0
