No, I think you have not misread anything. It is possible and doable.
£9.99*24-£220=£20ish - this is what you pay for the phone and the airtime after claiming all cashback successfully.22 Months FREE by redemption on Talk Mobile Saver £9.99 24m
Send your claim in line with the Cashback Claim Process below and we will credit you by cheque with £43.96 each time.
This will save you £219.78 over the 24 month duration of the contract. In effect this means that your average line rental per month over the contract period is £0.83 per month.
Please note: the above calculations are based on the basic line rental of the tariff and do not include itemised billing
Cashback Claim Process:
Claiming your cashback couldn't be simpler. You will need to send in your mobile phone bill at months 6 , 9 , 12 , 15 and 18
It's so simple to workout when you need to claim your cashback, please see the below table on when you should send your bills to us.
Bill Claim Amount
Bill Dated June 2012 £43.96
Bill Dated September 2012 £43.96
Bill Dated December 2012 £43.96
Bill Dated March 2013 £43.96
Bill Dated June 2013 £43.96
The required bill needs to be sent to Cashback Claims, Admail ADM4118, Loughborough, LE11 1YX and must be received within 60 days from the date on the bill. The bill must show your name, address, mobile number and tariff you are connected to.
We recommend you send this by recording delivery as we cannot be held responsible for lost items or claims that arrive outside the qualifying period. We also recommend you keep your proof of postage.
Please note: the above calculations are based on the basic line rental of the tariff and do not include itemised billing.

These can be good deals so long as you follow the instructions to the letter.
They rely on people forgetting to submit their paperwork, getting the dates wrong or filling in the paperwork incorrectly to subsidise those who claim successfully.0 -

Yes, but why? I mean, 24 months of airtime and a phone for only £20 to the person who remembers? Lol! I don't have to pay upfront for the phone do I? Just seems silly, that's all.
I'm skipping through the links now, towards the end of the threads (page 125?) alot of people are giving the thumbs up.
Thanks my friend!0 -

Hi, the companies get massive commissions for selling contracts.
The networks do this to keep up their customer base.
These deals rely on large numbers of customers failing to remember to claim or to get the claim wrong.
If YOU get the claim wrong then there is no payout.
It's a risk you take, do you trust yourself to be able to comply 100% with the terms and conditions?
Whatever you do don't take out one of these contracts and then come on here bleating about what a swindle it is.
I have had several dozens of contracts ( some where I basically made money from it ) and have never failed.
If you read all the threads there are many people complaining however it's usually down to their own incompetance.
One contract for £30/month x 12 months I got a free phone, decent contract, £360 cashback plus £30 Quidco cashback.
Another contract £10/month x 24 months I got free phone, very good contract, £80 cashback ,sold the phone for £180 so already £20 up then a relative uses the contract for £10/month. They got a cheap contract and I got £260 for a few clicks.0 -
to be honest, in two years time even the most most organised penny pincher can forget about cashback redemption.
the deals a bit dated too, not a smartphone and no data to boot, if it had data with 500mb per month i would consider this for my iphone, and just keep the phone as a backup
ive had cashback offers before, three times in fact, never had a problem, used dialaphone and e2save.
their cashback rules a deliberately confusing though, i always phone for confirmation of claim dates0
