Just looked back at your previous SOA and your debts were listed as:

    Unsecured Debts
    Description....................Debt......Monthly.. .APR
    Natwest........................18713.....283...... .0
    Co-op..........................18416.....270.......0
    Credit Cards...................44859.....1060......0
    New Boiler.....................5400......97........0
    Overdraft......................2500......0........ .0
    Car............................3000......100...... .0

    Total unsecured debts..........92888.....1810......-

    Is this right?
If it is the amount short for making debt repayments should be
    -£1159.54.
  • Hi

    Have read through the thread

Keep your chin up, remember what's actually important is your kids, hubby and the rest of your family

A roof over your head is just that- it could be at your mums, or another relative. Don't despair too much

I would suggest you call cccs again and ask for their opinion now - based on your earnings after leaving your job

As far as your mobiles go-
I am on a Tesco Mobile capped contract (£17.50 per month, sim only)
My son (aged 15) is on a £15.00 per month Blackberry contract
My wife is on a £15.00 per month, and my other son is on a £10.00 per month

So 2 kids, and 2 adults - £52.50 per month, this is capped- so we can't go over it (no nasty surprises from the kids)

I went BR in at the end of last year, but I am a self employed joiner and my work dropped by 70%. I had put it off for a year before going bankrupt.

We have started all those processes ie phones changing insurances, it's just taking a bit of time. We understand what we have to do now. It's all just scary and jumping into the unknown.

OP just wanted to post that if you do have to finish your job, your tax credits will increase and so soften the blow to income.
Plus you will have more time to push the grocery bills down/meal plan/cook from scratch as well as push all the other bits of money making ie your franchise/other bits of work you can do from home/surveys/selling old stuff on ebay etc etc

    Good luck
Its hard but gets easier as you go along-best feeling ever was paying off our huge overdraft and we would never have one again.
I second looking at PPI reclaiming once you have the time to read up as it could be a way to get those debts down.

Budgeting is going well, it's a working progress but started we have a few things still to do but I won't go back to our old ways now, as hard as this is.

Hello everyone, big changes the last two days, my husband started arranging an IVA yesterday and I handed my notice in to work today, we've managed to work to a budget this month and although we feel we could have done better we feel we made life changing progress with our money management.

Although we've gone ahead with an IVA because I've left work we feel that now we have in sight a future and my health and being there for my family is the most important thing now.
