 Hello All, its me sneeking back in again.... did I hear my name?

Flying Fresian I have a Silhouette SD which connects to the computer and I LOVE it. Its not something I use everytime I craft but I have nearly 2,000 cutting files so can cover most of my needs (not wants).:rotfl: Its on my desk at all times and ready to use, I have started cutting out lots at one time in plain white card then colouring the bits when I need them, its just simpler that way. I would suggest you do lots of research before buying any kind of machine because they are expensive you need to get the right one for YOU.

Wifey, I replied to your email :) Ooops forgot to press send!!

Looks like I NEED a trip to Lidl :)

I would like to say thank you again for all my lovely cards. We had a lovely time in Wales it was my Dad's birthday the same day as mine so we had lots of cake and nibbles, and the bonus of it only raining on the day we came home.

Need to tidy my craft room, catch up on blobs and go to Lidl ;)

Ah don't worry, it was worth it :D I got *deep breath* the green & blue with the green check butterflies, green with pink check flowers, bright pink with pink check birds, red & white with red check butterflies, the cream with yellow check butterflies and then finally the red with red check flowers :D Phew!! It wont let me post a picture though

Flyin', might be a good idea and check out the vendors and see if they will be carrying the cutting machines before making a definite decision. I bought the Calibur and use it on virtually every card but I wouldn't be without the Cricut but the cost of a cartridge is about the same as a Spellbinders die or there abouts but I do buy both carts and dies from the US because of the cost.

They both produce different effects. There's no way I could cut 30-40 cupcake wrappers with the Calibur as there isn't a die out there yet. But the Calibur cuts so precisely and with the dies I have I am pleased with it as I can cut multlple dies as the base plate is so big. One doesn't replace the other, in my case they work along side each other.

Hope this all helps you make a decision.
