How do I go about making a male birthday card? I need one for my dad in the beginning of March. I don't have any stamps or anything (well I do but I doubt he'd appreaciate a Tinkerbell on his card!) so could you guide me colourwise etc?
I tend to go for red/blues when I do male cards. Have a wee look on my blog for my most recent ones.

Look for free digi stamps if you've got a printer, you might get good male ones there. I'm not amazing at them tbh...!

Artydoll - is the magazine you are recommending the March issue please? I'm guessing it is 'cos you're a subscriber my local Sainsbugs only had the Feb issue. I'm loving your cards.

TomsMum - I'm another who uses the SU punches with craftwork oval sentiments.

Willow - if you can print Crafty Emma's store has some fairly neutral digi male images in aid of charity (Yorkshire Air Ambulance) which are quite useful.

Bit stressed (again!!) so apologies if I appear terse.

    Hello The-Wife

Thanks so much for that, much appreciated.

I'm ok thanks, just been working away, not a lot different really. My Mum died a wee while before Xmas, so just been taking it easy after organising funeral etc, it wasn't easy!

    How are you?

Hi! Sal, it's Paper Mill Direct here If you get on their mailing list there maybe a special at the weekend, that's if you don't need it in a hurry, like tomorrow. How's things by the way?

LindseyandMatthew nice card and sentiment, have you put it in for any challenges if you have a blog?

Has anyone tried the Lea'bilities dies like these ??
