Oh great challenge Kleopatra .... does that mean I have to go out in the rain and 'pick' a yucky leaf or twig  ... I don't suppose a Tim Holtz pine cone die would suffice
Marg Lovely to hear from you, I was getting a bit worried about youGlad all is well, I too have struggles with crafting this year, we had our drive done so money has been a challenge this year, not exotic in my eyes but probably in Artydolls, we went on the nile then a week in Hurgarda, was okay but that phrase you get what you pay for springs to mind
Off to Thailand at Christmas, and ever so slightly excited- Although this is the first year in lots of years where I haven't been anywhere new which I am determined to change next year
Artydoll I cannot believe you have a daughter that old, I had you pegged as someone much younger (You too Macma) My advice is too save up and go away if you can, Prague is lovely at Christmas as is Brugge etc.
69chick and hobbitfancier Welcome to this thread, it is a bit slow at the moment but I am sure will pick up
Flourgirl That is just plain mean lol .... Where are you going? .. Have a lovely time too0 -
Marg When you get the chance could you please email the latest Birthday list and address 'again'
Thank you0 -
I really like the idea of making Christmas cards, but I also think that buying them online (personalised of course, maybe with my own photo too!) does add that something extra.
I've ordered online in the past, and everyone loves receiving them. Though I can't decide what to do this year! I'm on a budget, and there's some great offers online... I've no idea what it would cost if I made them myself.
Any ideas? Say for 30 Christmas cards? For card, glitter, pens and some cheap decorations?
If it's more than £20, I might just get them online. But I do like the handfinished touch* Thrifty Bride saving for her 2013 wedding in the sunshine *0 -
You can make cards as inexpensive or expensive as you want really. I have made cards from odds and sods lying around, however, I've also made cards from stuff I've bought cheaply (and spent a fortune on stuff too.
)You can get enough stuff together for less than £20 Even those expensive card magazines at £7.99 a throw have enough stuff in them to make loads of cards.
