I'm probably " teaching my granny to suck eggs "but while watching a demo on C & C I saw them clip the backs off metal brads with nail clippers and then attach them with silicone glue.As someone who struggles with bulky embellishments it works a treat for me :)

I got this stamp from Bugaboo as you can print six to a page of A4 and it's a scoosh to colour. I made six cards in one night and was so proud of myself. I've now got an order to make ten for a FB friend, so it's back to square one for me!

I'm making altered notebooks and decorated candles for some people this year. Getting made redundant on Friday so it's back to MSE ways...

Thanks for the ideas. I keep meaning to try candles. I've been doing lots of stamping and printing on t shirts over the last few months but I haven't got round to blogging.

    Sorry to hear your news.

    Beautiful challenge entries everyone.

    Challenge Challenge Challenge

Right I thought I would keep it simple so the challenge is
    A Christmas Card

But it must be square and no red or green allowed

Usual rules.. two week time frame, post a pic here or post to let me know where to look, random draw on 10 October and a wee prize for the winner who will then set the next challange.

All are welcome to enter oldbies newbies and the inbetweeners too

Hi folks very quiet again just a reminder of the challenge I am sure you all have something being made so, come one ,come all , get your entries, in:)

    Hi,
I am a complete simpleton when it comes to card making and would really appreciate any advice.

The Christmas of the year my husband and I got married we bought each other those A4 boxed cards with several pages in each and each year we use the same cards to write that years message in.

Now we have a gorgeous baby boy and would like to start a card for him. I would like to try making one but have no idea how to start or how to secure the pages to the middle.

    all help greatly appreciated,
