Hi from a very wet and windy NE area I do hope all our crafty friends have dry feet and electricity, so far we are OK but a lot around here struggling with power cuts.
Rusty thanks for the challenge baton I will get my thinking cap on, sorry so few of us entered the last one and I do think we are getting a smaller group. The best are still here..... all who disagree get posting :):):).
I will be back later with the next challenge theme

  • Hello to all the newbies and hello to all the oldies

Have been away in Egypt on holiday, it was really hot and now I am feeling really cold, back to work with a bang this week with all the weather related disruption, twice now I haven't had time to eat any lunch

I will try and enter into the new challenge, shame it was only two, I am off at the end of the week so may even get around to updating my blob with cards and starting to comment again, I seem to have lost my mojo this year but it looks like I am getting it back again now :T

Have just been reading back, can anyone confirm if the big shot takes grand nesties or did I read that wrong?

Just bought some manilla envelopes,I needed 10x 7 inches ,for my recent cards.
Any idea how to pretty them up for my cards?Would really like to add some Christnas style to them, any of you done this?

I normally lurk but thought i would reply.... I usually stamp a Christmas "stamp" on the front next to the real stamp and put a Christmas wax seal on the back.

    Sorry HUUUUUGE photo.
I dry emboss on inserts and envelope flaps ,my fave is this butterfly but I'm sure you could pick up a Christmassy stencil :)

Lovely butterfly Macma. I love the ideas for the envelope- I thought I was being good doing the inside of cards!!

I'm busy doing crafty stuff but it's nothing worth writing about! Am spending a lot of time trying to use craft artist 2 with my electronic cutter!

I need some ideas to kick start me on Christmas makes. Any good stamps about? How about digis? Is anyone making any gifts using cardmaking skills?
