Ah, hope you feel better soon Jedi! I have only worn my maternity leggings once since I bought them and I have managed to lose them! I've searched all over the house and they are nowhere to be found! Thinking about it, I haven't seen one of my maternity tops for a while either.... very strange, will have to get to the bottom of it cos really reluctant to buy more!

Really interested in all the posts about resuable nappies; I have been toying with this idea but have no real information to go on so any advice or opinions that you lovely ladies have is much appreciated. OH seems to think that he hasn't got to change any nappies! The poor deluded fool! He's also not keen on me breastfeeding but that's only because he wants to feed baby too! I have explained that I can express the milk so that he can have a turn but he's read that feeding your baby helps with bonding so he's just being a bit eager. Bless him, he really is very excited! :T

Emsbet I rarely shop in H&M (even pre-pregnancy) cos I just find that their sizing is so hit and miss! Think I do have a pair of their maternity jeans though which I got off ebay and the band is already starting to cut into me so I don't think I will be wearing them much longer! I like River Island stuff but they stopped doing their maternity range - which is weird cos they only started it about two years ago! - so I scour ebay trying to find the odd gem here and there!

ok found some motivation. last nights pots are soaking in the sink! i only have a weeks worth of laundy to fold and put away and a living room to transform from bomb site into respectable abode!
I really do need to tackle it, I would be mortified to go onto labour in a messy house. The shame of the midwives having to pick their way through the rubble would be too much! MrsManda I'd just say say to the midwife,"ive been thinking about the birth plan, the obsterictrician has said i need to speak to you today about it, so ehre it is..." and then tell her all about it xx

MissMonkeyMoo, I used this site to research all the different types of nappies http://www.goreal.org.uk/ there's lots of information there. Depending where you live, there may be a nappy lady who can meet with you and show you all the different types etc. They often have trial packs you can hire for a while to try the different types.

We've gone for Fuzzibunz elite nappies, which are one size (birth to potty) pocket nappies, mainly because once you've popped the insert in the nappy it's ready to go on just like a disposable, they're also supposed to be very adjustable for chubby/skinny babies, and I love the look/colours available

Hello gillybean welcome to team pink! (and the thread)

Hoorrah i have now managed to do the pots/feed myself and clean up after.. however Ive now found myself sat back down watching show me show me with Maddie :eek: whats even more disturbing is that we both know the words to the "stuffy" song"!!! someone shoot me now!

I must be having a very blonde day today because it just dawned on me (it would seem) that in 2 weeks or less I will have 3 little girls in the house to contend with :eek: and the 7 year old seems to have turned into a 16 year old in the last month :eek: what have i done?! :rotfl: i feel sorry for Dan! 4 human girlies and a girly dog! theres only the rustydog to sympathsise with him lol.

Baby is being a little squirmer this afternoon, she keeps punching me in what can only possibly be decribed as my bowels ;o and her feet well oh my, they really need to keep still now!!
