Rebekah is your scan on Monday or Tuesday? Well I should probably get out of bed now before it's officially afternoon.Sending big labour vibes to the boldies xx
Yo - Scan is Monday 1130am. 4d @ 29 weeks. Super excited I have to say!! We are taking both sets of parents with us. The inlaws are travelling down as we speak and will be staying until Tuesday. They are bringing our silver cross surf pram with them that they picked up for us. I brought from someone who lives close to them. Can't wait to see it and play with it :D There will be MUCH moaning about my mil. She is a real pain in the butt and takes over whole house when she visits! ... Any one got any spare valium?! :o

And the boob tubes I mentioned earlier were great for wearing my normal leggings and trousers without the bump hanging out!!

Im going to go through my wardrobe and see which tops I can still get into, I've got quite a few longer/baggier tops that might work.

    Hello All

Long time on and off lurker on this thread, although been reading everyday for last couple of weeks.
Well I am same as Alizee and due yesterday, so very late in finally posting on this thread! Baby has showed no signs of arriving and is moving around so much this week that I am worried that she may have completely turned, although at last Friday's appointment her head was engaged.
I have a sweep booked today at 2:15pm which I have mixed feelings about! Hoping that it gets things moving but worried about pain and someone looking at my bits! never even had a smear before as I'm too young!
Anyway thats a little introduction from me, hope everyone is ok!
    xx

    Morning all (well afternoon).
Hugs to everyone who had a bad night's sleep, make sure you rest today. Mine wasn't too bad but woke every couple of hours coughing up sticky mucus stuff. My OH suggested going back to the doctors to check for a secondary infection (was coughing a few weeks ago and now it seems to be back and worse) but I feel like I'm spending half my life at medical appointments at the moment so I'm putting it off. If it gets worse over the weekend I'll book an appointment next week.

Dizzi, glad your dog turned up *hugs*

Good luck to everyone hoping for test results and having scans and labour vibes to all the boldies :)

My OH accused me of nesting last night when I started talking about ironing baby stuff as we got ready for bed. - I never do any ironing and I'm not entirely sure how to use the iron we have, seems to have lots of dials and is on a shelf out of my reach (not because I'm not allowed to iron, just that I never do so don't need access).
I was hoping my 'nesting' would come in the form of cleaning, tidying and batch cooking though I guess there's time yet.
Got my birthing/exercise ball yesterday :) Hopefully it'll help baby get into the right position and reduce the time I need to spend in labour - everything's worth a try?

Midwife appointment this afternoon, 35 weeks and I'm still appalling at peeing into a pot :o It's a standard appointment and I'm really hoping I can get her to do a birth plan with me as she's running out of excuses - last time I was told to wait until after my antenatal classes and until I'd spoken to the obstetrician. Classes are over and the obstetrician said I needed to discuss it with my midwife THEN discuss it with her/him/whoever takes the clinic next time I'm there :p

Better get ready to go, TTFN *hugs to everyone who wants them*

    hello ladies

off work sick today as not feeling too great with cold and pregnancy pains on top of that doesnt help. only 10 weeks left at work for me now, woo hoo! hopefully i will make it that long.

i had serious cramp yesterday in my foot, was putting some leggings on and it started - every time the cramp finished it started again - had about 6 cramps in a row - i didnt know what to do with myself i was frozen for about 10 mins scared of it cramping again - really dont want that to happen again.

and my H&M mat leggings have got a hole - only wore them twice :(

hope eveyone enjoys their bank holiday weekends.

have fun at the scan rebekah, hannah best of luck for your sweep, Mrs Manda - hope the midwife plays ball.
