  • Morning all

Big hugs Emsbet we're all here for you today.
About the rash, have you changed washing powder, shower gel etc that could account for it? If you have some e45 or something it may be worth trying to see if it calms it? If you're worried I'd ring the midwife/gp for advice.

Good luck Happy!!!! Your waters would go in a spectacular fashion lol. All kind of "whooshing" noises are in my head! Hope you have mummy cuddles with TL soon :-)

Just hooked up to the machine and my step mum is with me at the moment.

Poor Callum didn't know what was going on. Walked in to his room leaking everywhere and when he got out of bed he said he stood in it. Luckily we have laminate floors!!!

Morning all thanks for your lovely messages and well wishes. I am still shocked to have a little princess. She is doing so well, only woke once between 1 am and 7am this morning and is settling back to sleep on her own very nicely :)

Snoopy, what a gorgeous little bundle of joy, she is lovely :)

Emsbet, hope today goes ok for you, sending lots of love. You have every reason for the feelings you have been experiencing, all perfectly normal, I am sure baby Alex is watching over mummy and daddy with pride today :) take care

Hope everyone else is well. Happy, not long to go now.....it will soon be you! That reminded me of the big national lottery hand that used to be on the advert and said "it could be you" - maybe it is just me being delirious hahah.

Oh happy I hadn't read the last page and have seen that it could even sooner be you than i had thought!!! Good luck my dear :)

  • Well, today really is a happy day - for two happy people... hopefully!

We've just been for our 28 week checkup with the midwife, all is fine with us. My wife was delighted that she's gained 13lb since her booking in appointment at 11 weeks, but baby's growing fine, so we're going well.

Glad the weather's turned today to be lovely and sunny - even if we are now all back at work!!! And thanks for everyone who forgot the reason as to why it was pouring with rain for pretty much all of yesterday, no it was not a lovely day but we will make up for it before my wife masters the waddling duck impressions... :)

Take care, emsbet, and let us know how things go, happy.

And finally, why is it that reading birth stories makes us really teary, partly cos of what's happening to you all, but also because it's going to soon happen to us...?
Having fun trying to save money without going over the top and living on budget food all the time...

Thanks for all your wishes guys. I've got to stay in now cos I'm having proper contractions and they won't send me home as I'd be on my own. I'm quite happy with that. I'd rather stay here than have to go to my mums or dads.

Im keeping all this on the down low from everyone else for now cos I can do without the constant texts etc so you lovely ladies are the only people that know. Ill update you as and when I can.

Quite good not having a man here cos I dont feel bad being on my phone and ignoring him.

Emsbet - good luck with your appt at the job centre thus lunchtime.

    Xx
