    hello !

been looking at pushchairs today :j does anyone happen to know if the Mothercare mychoice prams have been changed ? on-line they are £300 but in store and the catalogue have them at £370

My budget was really only £250, but using a discount brings it in at £270 which i can do - BUT I dont need to be buying it yet & Ive only seen it as it is in store at the moment, Im worried I will get the online one now while its cheap and it wont be as nice as the one I looked at today :o

Anyway, hope everyone is enjoying the bank holiday rain !

    Boo to bank holiday rain
Maybe call their customer service dept and ask if it is different. I know when we brought ours it was the other way round the store were cheaper than the web price.
Could you call the branch you saw it in and get the item number and check it against the web/catalogue number just to be sure?

Hi There - just wanted to say that I went into my local store today to look at these and they were reduced to £300 - so its possible your store just hadn't got round to it yet?

Has anyone seen the Grabbit board today where there have been a few posts about bargain wipes? Just wondering how far in advance people started getting these and whether they dry out after a few months? I'm stocking up on a variety of different nappy brands to try and intend to start stockpiling wipes at some stage too but don't want to buy a load only to open them at a messy time and find they have dried out. Any advice?

Bellola - I've stocked up on wipes for about the last 3 months. I'm pretty sure that as long as you don't open them they won't dry out.

    Morning all,

My sore throat has turned into a full blown cold complete with snuffley nose. Does anyone know what we can use for bunged up noses? I know you shouldn't use olbas oil but I'm not sure about Vicks. I'm guessing probably not.

    xx
Emsbet, i had horrid congestion throughout my PG, and eventually asked the consultant about it at an appointment. They said using a vicks inhalator in moderation was fine, but to avoid nasal sprays and the vicks rub. He also suggested doing a steam bath to breath in,

Ahhhh snoopy she is so gorgeous! Such a pretty little button nose! :)
Thanks for sharing your birth story too, can't believe how quick your second stage was!

Congratulations flutterby - your birth was ridiculously quick! Sounds lovely though, and you sound very happy :) Lovely that you got a little girl, and a very sweet name too.

bellola - I don't think you'll have a problem stockpiling wipes - they're sealed and probably sit in supermarkets/warehouses for months on end. They only dry out if they're not sealed anymore - i.e. once you've opened them. I guess the only thing about stockpiling could be if your LO turns out to be allergic to them...!

Had a lovely lunch at a friend's, am still feeling stuffed. I'm sure I'll manage to eat some chocolate this evening though :D Other friend who also came to lunch is 37 weeks and HUGE! omg I can't believe I am likely to get that big!! It's all baby though, and so out-in-front.

Ugh I am dreading going to work tomorrow... 27 days to go though so not too bad.

    BB x
