Just tried the carseat in my parent's car, went in a treat, that's another thing ticked off the list

I seem to have re-developed a craving for icey things again, for the first 12 weeks of pregnancy I ate water lollies every day, now I'm back to that again, got a strange look in the shop given the rainy downpour we've been having

I agree the price of maternity wear is :eek: in most shops. My sis' hen party is next Saturday, happily we're just headed for a meal as I'm not sure Id be up for hitting the bars! I feel a bit mean for not buying a new outfit but with three weeks to go I'm not sure it's worth it, gonna raid my wardrobe for a nicer maternity top and just make an effort with some sparkly flats and some big spangly earrings I think, no-one's gonna be looking at me anyway!

Afternoon Girlies and Bumps,

Long time no post it's all been a little bit mad!

Caitlin Isabel Anna was born on 16th March (I know 3 weeks ago!!)

We spent the week in the hospital as she needed antibiotics and then just as we were about to go home I picked up a bug too and needed 24 hrs of antibiotics on a drip too.

We've been home 2 weeks now and it's a steep learning curve not just for me but for DH too - he had a week of sleeping whilst we were in the hospital and then got the rude awakening of the night wakings and feedings :rotfl:

I will post a birth story when I get a chance, it was pretty crap unfortunately, but it's fading fast and already I am considering that I could do it again - in the hours after Caitie's arrival I was adament I wouldn't go through it again as it was such a trauma.

I hope you are all well and bumps are behaving themselves. Congratulations to new mummies I have missed whilst I have been away!!!
