Emsbet - you haven't brought the mood down at all so don't you worry about that. These things shouldn't be hidden cos they are part of our journey and ultimately shape our future.

I did just go to sainsburys and stumbled across thy aisle containing fruit so thought Id give it a go!!!!!!!

Rebekah - I think when i joined i was 57th and now that naughty Emsbet keeps moving me up. I expect she will treat you in the same manner and you will be there before you know it...lol

Amy - let me know if you are going to be in print. I'm a sucker for a feel good story

Hi ladies, sorry I've been MIA, I seem to find it harder to get on here now I'm on maternity leave than I did at work...probably because I had nothing else to do there!

I forgot to ask snoopy, have you heard from lisa? I don't remember seeing her on here for a few days and wondered if she is ok

I'm here!! Nice to be missed thanks ladies! All ok, and no signs of anything happening here yet. Frustrating to think it could be another 5 weeks yet!
Good morning ladies I did post but it got moved......I gave birth yesterday and I was only in active labour for two hours, best wishes ladies xxxx

    Congrats!!

Well, not alot to report here, it's just taken me ages to catch up! I'm mostly chilling on the sofa today after being awake half the night! I woke at 1.30am and finally went back to sleep sometime after 5am! Got up just after 9.30am so caught up a bit but feel pretty washed out still!

On Monday I went to Ikea and then to a lovely garden centre where I got 2 lovely pictures for the nursery, I now just need to find a frame for one of them and get DH to hang them.

    Baby is wriggling away!

Oh, I didn't realise that posterior meant the baby was back to back, at my last midwife appointment she said my baby's position was 'cephalic ROP' and that the P stood for posterior and that just meand it was laid towards the back of the uterus rather than the front but she never mentioned it being back to back. oh and I get a bum sticking out quite regularly so knowing my midwife she probably just got the wrong word lol!

I had my sweep around lunchtimeish and was apparently already 2cm before she started. I then went shopping. :D I had some rumblings, but nothing really got going till I went to bed that night. In fact, I wasted the whole evening on the gym ball trying to get it going so my other half didn't head back home for work, and it started once I got off and tried to sleep. :D

I didn't. She was camping, I think it was, when she tested and so text me so I could let the TTC ladies know :)

I'm eating some of that fruit stuff now..... With meringue nests and squirty cream :)

  • Hi all

Can I join? I'm 10 weeks (subject to scan!) with my first child and so excited and terrified! As I'm currently unemployed (qualified teacher, 5 years experience, no jobs!), I'm desperate to save money wherever possible!

 welcome :) Do you want me to add you to the list or would you like to wait until after your dating scan? There are lots of us on here so I, sure that we'll be able to help with the money saving :)

    Many congratulations CamNolliesmummy :happyhear

Goppers, I hope you are having a better day today and Gin, I hope those pains are easing off :)

I like the sound of maternity bed covers, we only bought our mattress in January so it would be great to protect it. Can someone point me in the direction of where I can pick one up cheaply please? :)

Booked my antenatal class today :jIt's on Saturday 19th May, I'll be 35 weeks then. It also includes a tour of maternity ward which I'm looking forward to, altough I know not everyone would be keen.

Off work now until Tuesday. Plenty of time for relaxing - and hoping that this manky weather doesn't affect my patio being laid tomorrow!
