    its on page 299 xx

Just read it. Thank you very much for sharing, I have never had anything done before so was a bit apprehensive about it but you have made me feel better :o I bought some of the least flattering/sexy pants in the world yesterday, they are huge and come up right under my belly button but should be great for post-op. They were only cheap ones so will just throw then away afterwards. I have also bought a few dresses to wear so should hopefully keep me comfy afterwards.
In a way it is quite nice knowing when its all going to happen, have booked my waxing in for 6 days before and am having my hair cut and coloured the day before. Mind you like you I think I am just thinking baby will be good and stay in place till then, chances are they way this pregnancy has gone it wont!!

    Thank you again xx

Jovi - yes it's ridiculously windy isn't it. The wind was howling during the night. And we have a bit of snow now. Crazy!!!!

DH put one of those Boots maternity bed pads down on the mattress last night just incase, I don't want to ruin a new mattress but I hope doing it at 37ish weeks doesn't jinx me so I go over!

Two days left at work, woohoo! I genuinely feel that if DH and I get our bedroom sorted this weekend I'd happily have her arrive next week, I'm feeling all excited but probably the apprehension kicks in when I'm sat at home on maternity leave, bored with the TV and too uncomfy to do much :D

OBEM tonight and then OBEM one year on tomorrow, I'm so sad, I just love all these baby programmes!

Hope you guys don't have the snow blizzard we had up North yesterday, my advice is to wrap up warm, hunker down and eat chocolate!

It was quite noisy last night wasn't it - woke me up at about 3am so I came downstairs and spoke to the cats for a while til I felt sleepy again :rotfl:

OH sent me a text this morning saying he got caught in a blizzard on his way into work so I think it has been snowing for a while in certain areas (he works in Newton Heath).

Amymo, I have had mine on the bed for a couple of weeks now, we have a memory foam topper so didnt want to leak anything on to that. Took me ages to get used to it being there, could feel it under the sheet. Enjoy your last 2 days at work, I finish on Friday 13th!!! Unlucky for some........

    Morning all!

Congratulations CNOM on the birth of baby Oliver - wow 2 hours! That's fast!

Well up until about 5 minutes ago, we still had a little bit of sunshine here, but it's completely clouded over with big grey clouds now, so I'm guessing the weather from up North has made it's way down south now. I don't think we're expecting any snow (probably just rain).

Only plan for today is that I need to go and get the poor cat his food from the farm shop - don't worry he hasn't starved, as there was still enough to keep him going for a few days, but if I don't go today, I may forget, and I don't even have any tinned tuna in the house at the moment to substitute for food (much to his disappointment).

So, I think I need to put shoes and socks on, get the food, and then come back and start making some lunch. I may get some nice bread or something similar whilst I'm there for my lunch too.

Hugs to goppers - can't believe their treatment of you.

Labour vibes to anyone needing or wanting them, and keeping my fingers crossed that we see a snoopy puppy on our screens soon. x

PS. Amymo my 16 week midwife appointment is on Friday 13th. eek!

I'm sad it's the last one tonight. I won't get to watch until tomorrow because DH won't watch it - I hope he's not going to be so squeamish when it's our turn! ;)

There's a new one starting on one of the sky channels (I forget which one now, home and health maybe?) that's about women who hide their pregnancies for one reason or another. It looks quite interesting so I have that on sky+

I have my 18 week check then too! Although I'll be 18+3 because they were booked up for the Tuesday.

Happy - I slept ok. My hips were actually alright last night, I think the pillow is working for now :) I did keep waking up after having really vivid dreams, the first one about our house being on fire and the second about a tsunami!

I have my appointment for the job centre. It's on Tuesday at lunch time. If nothing else it should keep my mind occupied for a while which is good (Tuesday would have been Alex's due date :()

Emsbet - I had a weird dream last night about being induced aswell. This woman with a huge green glove was ferreting away and my waters splattered all over her face. It was really funny.

I'm sure Tuesday will be a tough day for you. I remember last month, which would have been the due date of the baby I lost, and I was surprised just how much I thought about it. It's easy to think that now you are pregnant you should be all smiles and happy but you never forget the past and Alex was an important part of your life.

I have mine for just over a week now, and I am 30 weeks today. We have the mattress with the top layer of memory foam as well.

Happy - you say your house may take off, well, our fence did! One of the posts (ok, it was not in the best condition) is now broken and is laying over my raised bed, with the panel in neighbour's garden. The adjacent panel is dangerously being held in place by another post and a stump of the broken one (the posts are cement ones, where you slide the panel in). I am not sure that panel is going to survive this wind, but I can't do anything about it - I can't lift it out on my own and OH is at work. The post was looking dangerous for a couple of years, and it is the fence that 'belongs' to the neighbour according to our deeds - we replaced most of the panels last year ourselves, as they were all braking and in very poor state, but we were not going to spend too much money and the posts for him as well. Actually, we didn't have one panel between the gardens as it has got broken in the wind for a while and he never bothered to replace that.

We talked just couple of weeks ago and he mentioned he was going to look at replacing the posts next year. Well - I think he will need to bring this forward to this year. I never understood why he didn't sort them earlier as he has a 5 year old daughter and if it was me, I would not have been happy with the fence like that! (The cement was crumbling, the posts were wobbly, the panels where braking) And, if I am honest, I don;t want to be contributing to his cost this time... He always says he has no money (he is a teacher), but then we have lived here for 3 years and he did nothing at all about this fence.
