Charli I was the same at my 28 week bloods both my hands were swollen for a week after, it's a nightmare.

Stupid oven! Can't find my rubber gloves, so can only use fairy washing up liquid!

Get OH to do it Mozzy, we have this Mr Muscle stuff that can apparently burn holes in things :rotfl: I need to retreat to the bedroom and close all the doors while he does it! :eek: it's potent, but gets the job done with no scrubbing!

I used to use the Mr Muscle but it stinks, makes you choke and still requires some scrubbing. i recently discovered 'oven pride'. Its a little bit more expensive but it comes in a box with special nitrile (chemical resistant) gloves and a bag to soak the shelves in and its AMAZING!!!! All you have to do it apply it, leave it for a bit then literally wipe it off! Mine desperately needs doing but the sciatica stopped me yesterday, will do it next weekend!

We do ours once a month and it never needs scrubbing :eek: just squirt that stuff all around and it comes out sparkling. May need to try Oven Pride though if it stinks less.

Duno why I'm caring, I don't do it :rotfl: that's a blue job.

The only blue job in my house is vacuuming! After 18yrs I've all but given up trying to change that haha

I use that. It's brilliant. I need to do my oven again but am worried aout the fumes. Will get hubby to do it next weekend.

The only blue job in our house is switching the Xbox on.....hmm.....
I use the Cif oven cleaner, it doesnt smell at all Leave it on for 30 mins, wipe off, job done! I HAD to do mine yesterday as when i made the cake Saturday, i didnt push the base in properly so had cake mix all over the oven bottom Altho a friend swears by those bags u put the shelves in, as apparently u can get ones for BBQs too in the summer! x

Blue jobs are oven cleaning and taking the bin out here! Sometimes he'l surprise me like yesterday and get the ironing table out, I nearly died of shock, but more often than not, it's me who's Mrs Mop.
